There is no 'proper way'. Even a right-handed drummer can play without crossing over his hands. This is called the open method, and has many advantages.
hey man great job , how big are the drums? i have limited space. And where did you get the audio cable to connect your ipod. did you buy their accessory pack or did you get the clable somewhere else
I like the fact that you are left handed playing a right handed Electric drum kit. and nice job, i loved every minuit of it!Try a day in the life beatles cover, i love the drums in there and i knoiw you have it in u!=]
@flexpintdrummer Left handed people have their proper way too. I think your kit might make you confuse. What I mean is that the lefty kits have their stuff in another locations.
A: Yes, depending on how hard you hit, the sound will be "harder". That's the thing with E-drums. A cheaper budget kit might not give a lot of difference in feel depending on how hard you hit, but the better kits from especially Roland and also Yamaha has developed a great sensitivity in their kits if you know what I mean.
I actually shift between playing hi-hat with left and right hand just for fun! When I first started playing I did it with the left hand on hi.hat so yeah.. that's the way it's always been :)
never see a drumstyle like this before. You're playing the HiHat with your left hand and the snare with the right. I think you are an left-hander. It's anomalous, that you playing on a right-hander drumset.
yeah I don't know if im to say thanks or what. this is the way i've always been drumming. Since I never took any lesson no one ever told me how to old or whatever :)
yeah, by the looks of things you could say that. but if you know anything about e-drums you wouldn't say that. It's small, yeah, but honestly I can say that it's a solid e-drum kit. Works perfectly fine for practicing at home and for beginners.
one of the best covers ive heard out there. keep on drumming :D and what is the name of that drum set? planning to get an electric drum set, wondering if is any good.
@PhildeCritic its a roland. they are probably the best brand of electric drum sets that there are out there. otherwise go for a yamaha. those are good as well.
yeah this is the roland hd-1 kit. works perfectly fine for beginners and for practicing at home. If you're rather new to drumming I promise that you will be happy with this kit.
i love this song. glad i finaly could see it, as at first, i got a message someone blocked it's contents. i like the fills in this song. i practiced it with guitar hero world tour, but i can't seem to remember all the fills. good cover, keep on rocking.

Hope you understand english, and I hope I understood your questions.
I'm playing this way simply becasue I wasn't taught the "proper way" I'm also left handed, but you can play the Roland HD-1 in any way you prefer.

@flexpintdrummer justo1900 asked, "You play with your left hand, so why don't you set up the kit left handed?"
Guerrillablackdog 8 months ago
@justo1900 Yo digo lo mismo, es el primero que veo que se pone a hacer eso en vez de poner la bateria para zurdos.

How do you recorder the sound of the drum?
J4NLU7H3B35T 1 year ago
@J4NLU7H3B35T
hi!
A regular 2.1mm. cable from the Module into the computer and then "mic in".
I record everything with a program called "Audacity". Windows movie maker works as well though.
