Many Christians over history "converted" to Islam just to save themselves from "dhimmi" status which is basically a humiliating degrading status for Christians which was worse than Segregation for African-Americans in the United States 200 years ago.

If only whoever posted this told the truth about who Bishop Maximos really is. This man isnt a Coptic Bishop. He was part of the Coptic Church and in 1976 began some activities outside the Coptic Church. In 2005 he claimed that he was ordained in NEBRASKA,USA as a bishop for Egypt and the Middle East by the name of Maximos. This Bishop is married and has 2 kids. CHRISTianity was created by Christ. it is the belief in what Jesus taught which is the path of Salvation through His Life-Saving Passions.
