I must say, I found it a little humorous to hear the line "straw that stirs the drink" because back in 1977 a Yankees baseball player named Reggie Jackson gained infamy when he described himself as "the straw that stirs the drink" when referring to the Yankees team.
There are not enough words in the English language to fully describe the awesome sense of aging with gentleness and compassion that is inherent in your video, MotherReiver. I am ecstatic with how the lyrics and your lovely song played together in this project. The visuals added immeasurably to my enjoyment. I know that this was a labor of love, months in the planning and execution. You did it marvelously.
Writing words that have meaning is one thing, MotherReiver, but your voice and the way that you say them is quite another. I'll continue to write if you continue to put power, emphasis and substance on the lyrics as you did with this video and also with "The Song Whisperer."
You may be starting a brand new trend with whispering songs rather than traditionally singing them. You got me hooked, hook, line, and sinker. Now, it is time for you to rise:)
Actually a combo between Magix and Fruity Loops - I've got a learning curve goin' on with Fruity Loops :) I'm glad you liked the soundtrack, and yes, I did create it. Tired of WMG slammin' all my videos down, so I'll make my own music.
Yeah that's what I did in my last one "Black Minestrone." I'm making a new one using about 20 tracks including live instruments - it's like a Wall of Sound. Phil Spector's got nothing on me lol.
Sony Acid to mix the loops. I'm playing guitar and synth myself then will layer various modified loops and wav files over the top. I have to be careful not to make it too muddy with so many tracks so i'm using many of the loops to only accent the music here and there. I'll post it AFTER Easter because it'a about religious fundamentalism...from the atheist viewpoint. :)

Well, I can sing harmony - but it feels so much better being the Song Whisperer. Well, at least it wasn't hook, line, and STINKER :)
