I live in brisbane. Darren Lockyer is the best player we've ever had but he doesn't come close to the effect Johns had every time he played. Lockyer has faded too.. Johns never did. Wally was the origin king but not that special in the everyday comp. Johns dominated NRL origin and tests. He was the best

If that was so then Langer would be in the Team of the Century at halfback ... but he's not. There is no doubt it's between Johns and Lewis, and you can't split them. Two different generations, Lewis played awesome for most of his career but finished in reserve grade, and was a discard from Brisbane..
