  • Bro i wish i had one. this takes me back when i was kid and i actually had to sneek donwstairs to the basement to watch midnight special or Rock concert, i just vgkad that you had this little piece ...i still have a cassette of that performance somewhere but i haven;t heard it in years...i remember they ended their set with happy children.....great memories......

  • OMG i saw this same performance when i was kid, it was actually on Don Kirshner's Rock Concert. and i had reocded if rom the TV to a postable cassette recorder.

    you just flipped me out when you cut if off at the drum break when everyone drops their instruments.....that was climax of this performance.......nice tease.......lol

  • I was fortunate enough to see Osibisa in the late 70's at Constitution Hall in DC. What a concert. The music and showmanship was outstanding. Me and the fellas had a hellva time. And of course during that era you could smoke marijuana in concert ventures. This chip brings back good feelings. Past the joint like they use to say (lol)

  • if you like this music, and you aren't already hip to it, check out the father of afrobeat, Fela Kuti. That guy will blow your mind right out of your skull. And on top of that, he was a courageous activist for reform in Nigeria, an incredible figure. Peace

  • Just Saw them live here in Goa, India Yesterday! Nov 17th 2009. Their very first Venue for the 2009 World Tour!! Great Music and a Great Live Act!!

  • leas cliff hall I think. Walked a girl to the Bouverie Square bus station she lived in Lyminge then back to the show and picked up a great girl who I will always remember, Paula Brazier.

  • saw them at hemel hempstead and watford in the seventys agreat live band any one know of an album by i think the bass player spartcas r his only solo album

  • I saw them in my youth and must have been this tour. Saw them in Strawberry Hill, Twickenham in the UK at Teaching College. They had a suprise guest who turned out to be Stevie Wonder...hard to believe but true. All i recall is evreyone dancing...rest is a blur

  • I didn't think it was physically possible for there to be angry posts on an Osibisa video. They play the happiest music I've ever heard. No matter how bad of a mood I'm in, Osibisa can always cure it. ^^
