  • what is the deva cup and how does it work and were can you buy it at. Does it really work?

  • can u feel it inside of u?

  • 11 yr olds? Heck I didn't even get mine (period) 'til I was 15!

  • how can you not get that in? im a dude and i can get that in.

  • 11YEAR OLDS? ?!!!

  • How the hell are you supposed to put that thing?!?!

  • @braebrae101 You fold it and it opens up in your vagina. It looks big, but you can't feel it, just like a tampon.

  • I hope you were able to use it! It took me a few months to get used to mine, and I was in my thirties when I first tried! :) I really wish I had discovered menstrual cups when I was younger, I would have saved so much money and prevented so much garbage from going into the landfill! Thanks for this great video and for spreading the word about cups. It's so important because a lot of doctors and nurses don't even know these things exist!!

  • ur really brave <3

  • Did you ever get it in?

  • You are amazing. You are confident and informed. Have you explored washable, cloth, menstrual pads?

  • thank you :) your so brave and open, wish there were more girls like you around!!

  • i used it as a virgin and it was okay! i had been using tampons for years prior to that and i don't really remember it being much of a problem, pretty sure i got it in on the first try, though it may have taken me a few minutes. and i only knew about the c-fold at the time, which is much bigger than the fold you showed here.

  • I'm 12 I haven't gotten my first period yet but how do u put that in???????? I'm confused

  • @minecrafter925 There are different folding techniques. :]

  • you are extremely brave and mature for posting this stuff as a teenager. thank you!

  • how can i get it out.. theres no band (i dont know the english word for the thing at the end of tampons :) )

  • @FraeuleinCupcake3 string.

  • @FraeuleinCupcake3 you have to grab it at the base or the stem - it does come with a short little stem at the bottom, which can be shortened if it feels uncomfortable. so you actually have to use two fingers to go inside your vagina a little bit, grab the cup at the base, use your index finger to bend one side of the cup a little so you let in some air and there's isn't any suction (VERY important, you could hurt yourself otherwise!!), and pull it out.

  • omg its too big for me to insert it! help :(

  • @ilovegymnastics2398 search "menstrual cup folding techniques" from MenstrualCupInfo.

the punch-down fold, the second one shown in the video, is my fave because it's the smallest one and it opens easily. once you get it in, you just release the fold and twist the cup holding the base so that it opens up.

  • if you think about it, it shouldent hurt to take it out cause its just the same size as a playtex sport when you take it out....

  • i cant get it in! please help me :'(

  • what is that??

  • wait, why would you want to have that on when NOT on your period?

  • @runtubefantasy you can put it in when you expecting your period instead of waiting and having an accident

  • I think width can be an issue for some of us. Smaller lunette def works better for me. I still think a slightly smaller model would be perfect but no one makes it. So if you know your body, I would go by what you think you need. Had a feeling large would be too big. Got it & was shocked at size of it. Went by manuf advice. Just aying if u know UR body; go by that. If not then go by manuf sizing bc you cant return it. Its not a bad product.

  • I just got the small lunette Selene. Havent tried yet. This looks normal in circum to me. Divacup was HUGE! I had trouble getting it in. I have to wet the cup w/water b4 placement or it would def hurt. I wouldnt go by size they recomend IF you know ur body. Im over 30 so it says to go w/bigger cup. Its too big caused cramping. Think Lunette might work. I have to trim tip off tho. That can hurt 2. Fingers crossed I hope it works. I lov the idea of it. Guess I have to keep trying.

  • I got divacup. I managed to get it in but it didnt seem to go in far enough no matter what I did. I thought it was ok but I rollled on my side in bed. I felt either an internal pinching/or some sort of cramping. I had to get it out that second so uncomfortable! I also was never able to grab end & get it out. I had to break suctn then pull out. I think prblm is circumference is just way to wide. A penis is not even that wide. Dont know why it has to be so big.

  • @2Ryled Actually width shouldn't be an issue, because the vagina & the cup are flexible. The real issue with the diva cup is that it's the longest menstrual cup on the market !!! So it could be that it's just too long for you. 2 tips to make it shorter : carefully trim off the stem, and if it's still too long, try flipping it inside out. Alternatively there are other brands available online that are softer (meluna, ladycup, fleurcup). Also, it's absolutely necessary to break the suction !

  • Did you ever get it to work for you? I had a problem too getting it in the first time and I'm WAY older than you and have had 2 kids naturally. It's intimidating. I literally had to push hard to get it past the beginning/opening of the vagina. I wanted to know if you got it in so maybe you could explain further how to use it. I am doing a vlog on it for my experiences. 3 days of working with it so far and it's leaking :( Waiting on month 2...

  • @KristyU2178

Hiya(: This is Ashley! Yes! The thing you have to do is keep trying!!! I was told that! Search on youtube menstrual cup info, it's this channel and it should help you bunches(:

  • It also might be cause the diva cup is one of the larger ones:/ if all else fails, try a smaller cup brand like lunette! :) also a different fold might help like double 7 or origami fold and there's a video called menstrual cup folding techniques with a blue cup that might be helpful:)

  • Great video, dear. Hope things are going ok. Its true, 11 year olds do use them, so assuming you don't have any medical conditions, you can absolutely make it work. It just takes time and practice if you are young. No big deal at all. You are doing great!

  • check menstrual cup info's video on inserting techniques

  • Wait how so you get it out I'd there's no string?

  • I am a little confused. Isn't going to be hard to take out? Like more painful than tampons because it is so big?

  • @cheercaptain7

No, it hurts less than tampons for me at least!!

    -Ashley

  • @TheGirlGurus seriously how are you supposed to talk it out

  • @cheercaptain7 No, because it's soft and not cotton. Cotton actually hurts more, your vagina is sensitive.

  • I heard that the ladycup is Really good. And its just a liitle bit easyer to put in cuz it's more squishy. But idk cuz ive never used one that's just what I heard. But Now I really want to try one!!

  • Its a cup that you put in your vagina. Kinda like a tampon but u wash the blood out and reuse it.

  • What is a dive cup?

  • Lol! Good luck Ashley!:D

  • @kastop138

    Thanks!(:

  • Woah I should try one of those. ^_^

  • @AndyinmySixx

    You Should!!!
