Your hair is BEAUTIFUL Alison! I cut my hair in Feb 2010 it's been six months, but it doesn't seem to be growing as fast as I would like. I do keep it conditioned. I'll keep waiting on it.

@pcole89 I keep my hair well moisturized, clean, I wash my hair at least once a week . I keep my my hair well protected, meaning I usually wear my hair in twist, up in a curly puff, or in its curly defined state. I rarely wear my hair in a fro like in the video, because it makes the hair dry out. I don't use anything with hold in it because it will dry my hair out, and no weaves ever, they cause hair breakage. And I comb my hair only with conditioner in it or moisturizer.

Well not really it is a reg fro. My hair was in its natural girl pattern, and then I picked it out. a afro is nothing but frizzy curls or coils.

yes I have done a twist out, but my hair is very curly when I don't pick it out into a fro. A fro is nothing but a frizzy curls or coils. I might do a video with my hair in its natural curl pattern to show the differents. i might start doing more twist outs once I reach bra strap length.

I bet twist outs look very nice. I'm in the military and i keep cutting my natural hair so it won't exceed the 2 inch bulk...blaahhh. I wanna grow my hair out to about the length in your video probably by next spring...Hopefully it works and I can put it in a really tight bun with tons of pins...I'm going to take your suggestion and keep my hair clean and moisturized. It's hard since I'm required to workout in swim daily. Thanks again for the video!

luv ur fro!! well with my hair, as long i protect it, use a good flat iron, don't flat iron it more than once every 2 months, and deep condition when i'm ready to wash it's perfectly fine...
