  • Are these 250r bikes able to ride on the interstate? I was looking into getting one of these to drive to work. Are these suicide bikes to ride - not enough horsepower to move out of the way of cars?

  • holy shit 5 1!!

  • My first bike was the '89 ninja 250R, great back then and looks even better todays new models, i highly recomend it for starters on two wheels. safe riding... mates

  • this is a terribly useless video... i was looking for a review....not a seizure inducing montage....

  • Well thank god the handle bars are in the right place fuck I was getting worried about that

  • "Alice Sexton" haha

  • im 6'4 muscular i need help on a beginner bike i love the way it looks but not sure if it will be to small for me

  • @batmanlivez Best way to find out is to go to a local dealer and just sit on one. :) Good luck!

  • @batmanlivez go with the 500r, only about 1000 more, youll be happier

  • @batmanlivez I'm 6'3" and 250lbs. I ride the crap out of my 250! I recommend it highly! I have over 13,000 miles on it now, check out my vids of it! :)

  • I'm starting to think the kawasaki ninja is a chicks bike.. all i see are girls test riding them.

  • Ninja 250 i'd say.

  • someone help please im 6ft5 and skinny as hell whats a good begginner bike for me?

  • @sidSTARSCREAMwilson

You gott get the hyosung gt250r if your 6'5''. Its a much bigger bike than the 250 ninja.

I got one and its awesome - plus you dont look like a giant on it.

  • Like all the reviews made these peeps. I have a question. I'm 5'7 and weigh in at 170 and I'm deciding between a Honda Entry level bike like the NightHawk and Rebel and this Kawasaki ninja. I'm also looking at a scooter. The sym hd200 and Honda sh150i. Any recomendations? I live in Maui, Hawaii and gas is at an an all time high!... Please help.

  • ninja 250 hands down. Dont mean to be rude but is the 170 lbs mostly muscle of fat? if your bigger it'll feel kinda small cause the seat isnt super large. then i'd recommend a higher cc scooter. but try them all out! sit on all the bikes your looking at and try 'em out! greetings from canada

  • Depends. A scooter is more practical, more storage space for stuff. But if you have a good backpack and you want a bike with a little bit more fun factor. No scooter!

If its just for fuel economy i'd go for the scooter.

But like aSignInTheTrees said. Go try out lots... ride them see what feels good. I have a cbr900rr not for fuel economy nor for practicality. But purely for the fun factor. But its really a personal thing.

  • tones here for sale for that reason this is a great bike if yu wanna have fun you can still get a speeding ticvket but no wheelies or burn outs wich is nice im a young guy i love speed and power but by haveing this bike i dont do the crazy stuff i probly woould on soem thing with big power its just addictive plain an simple i recomend this bike 100% i love totaly with some uner glow lights on the bottom makes it look sic the cops even like it ride safe WATCH MY VIDEOS WITH MY BIKE!!

  • i have this bike every one thinks is a 600 to funny they dont belive its a 250 i am 5,7 an 175 lbs its perfect bike no power band wich is great the bike is got a good steady pull i ride 3 lane 401 in canada an no worrys keepin up with traffic or passing its not a race bke people take it for what it is its perfect most people buy it as a beginers bike an in a week are ready for more power they try an sell the biek for what they paid that doesnt work there were tones here for sale >>--->

  • so is this like a traditional crotch rocket that you like lay overr the tank or do you sit up strait like the driver that was on here? please if someone has one and knows for a fact please tell me

  • I'm about 5' 8" and 215LBS (yes, im a little overweight). Would the 250R be a good first bike for me? Technically speaking, my first bike was a Honda MB-5(2 stroke, 50cc screamer) back in the 80's for about a year or so. I'm now 47, and haven't ridden in a while.

  • hey yea i hav the same question! im about 5'8'' & 200 lb beginner & was wondering if this is a good bike & also about how much does it cost?? someone said about $ 3,999 is that correct???

  • I think the 2008's were $3,499 MSRP, and the 2009's were $3,999 MSRP because they added fuel injection to the 09's.

  • Hey Im thinking about buying this bike here in India where we don't have many of the other high end bikes. Most common bikes here are 150-200cc bikes so this is still better. And most bikes here are not too big either....

    L=2000mm

    W=600-700mm

    Im 6'6" and 210 pounds. Would I fit ??

  • You are way to tall sorry man...they make this specifically for the US beginner rider which happens to be shorter people comfortable height range is 5'1 - 6'2 ish 6'6 is way to tall tad heavy side also for this bike

  • The thing is that most bikes here in India are 150cc bikes which are a little smaller than even this bike. We don't have bikes over 250cc made here in India. They have to be imported and cost more than double the amount than that in US. That is why Im wondering...

  • If you are 6'6'' you will have a hard time being comfortable on just about any sportbike. I am 6'2'' and the the 250 i rode felt like a toy.

  • I think that the small cruiser 250's are pretty great for tall people. Honda and Suzuki etc.

  • i really can't wait to get this bike just wish the economy wasnt crap at the moment

  • so would i get made fun of if i got this bike. because i like the way it looks and the fact that its vary cheep and light (because iam a first time buyer). but my consern is that people would say o thats a girls bike. what do you think.

  • Hey all.. Im 5'3 ish and weigh at about 110-115 lbs. Will i fit on this bike stock or will i need to lower it? thanks

  • Id say you could Tip-toe the bike. Im 5'9ish and fit the motorcycle fine. It might be hard for you though.

Get it lowered anyway for comfort - even if you can tiptoe it :)

Its indefinatly one of the best small bikes on the market.

  • I'm picking up mine next Tuesday the 5th May, 2009 edition with fuel injection, I haven't riden for 15 years so will have to 'get back into it', run it in for 500 miles then away to places that I've not been before.

  • Are there any internal changes to the 09 model, or is it just external changes?

  • 70% of the internal engine is redesigned and rebuilt

  • sorry ment anerexic and short 600 lol

  • and hyosung dont suck they are a good little Leaner bike u keep it for a year then ditch it u only need it for a year any way . and comment about it looks like a 600 rofl a anerexic and small 600lol

  • i cant fit on this bike how ever i can fit on the 1992 honda cbr250rr iam 5 11 the cbr250rr has a higher tank then this bike and omg it flys if i were u get a used one of these or a used cbr250rr if u drop it it dosent matter hope u dont drop ur new ninja any one who is learning that is

  • pretty sure i wont fit on this bike haha. almost 6-3 210 lbs

  • You will fit just fine.

  • is that the stock body kit?

  • cant wait for mine yeee

  • actually this video help me ton ty

  • i havnt ever road a bike befor and have heard that thi bike is a very good firsst bike but at the same time very fast for a 250 would i scare myself stupid gettin this??

  • not at all, they are good beginner bikes because they WON"T scare you. they have slower motors than othe old 250's

  • but is it too slow to have fun. like will it do at least 85. lol sounds dumb but i need to know these things before i buy. i prob would not go that fast but its nice to know its not comp. slow i doubt it is though.

  • It goes up to around 105ish.

  • what do u mean? like this one has a smaller torque than the older ones?

  • yeah but huskey if u cant fit on it u cant fit on it lol

  • by the way this aint a sports bike its more sport touring the hyosung gt250r is more of a sport bike then this

  • gt250r isn't built as well and doesn't have anywhere near the amount of after-market mods that the ninja250r has.

  • @Huskey2008 That's right. Get the Honda or the Ninja kids, the Hyosung is only for people who want to stand out, it's not actually a good bike.

  • i was really thinking about this bike but when i got the chance to sit on it omg its small iam 5'11 and 6'1 with boots and i tell u my knees are so high on the bike and i cant duck under the screen my arms feels crampd.get hyosung gt250r

  • then get a 600

dont get a hyosung, they are made cheap. andything korean sucks balls

  • She has a cool name... and a cool bike

  • I'm going to get this bike in two years when I'm old enough 60mpg!!

  • hi iam 5'6 will i fit on the bike or am i to small

  • I am 5'7 and I fit comfortably. No worries

  • When your 6'1 or taller i woulnt get it cause it makes you like like your a kid ridin a 50 cc bike. Add your weight and itll go even slower.

  • yea i agree... i love mine its a lot of fun but i'm 5 10 ish and i don't think anyone over about 6 feet should be riding long distances on this bike. i think it has plenty enough power for the majority of beg. riders though

  • i'm 6'0 with shoes. 180pds athletic.. approx. do you think i'll fit?..

  • you'll fit fine

  • yeah ive sat on this bike in the store and im 6'1" with my boots on and 6' without and im fine on it. but i dont weight much more than 10 stone
