great memories - I loved this walk as a child. Is there any way we could DRIVE (in a Range Rover or similar) our 93 year old mother up to the gorse and bracken area to see the view once again? Whom should we contact? I live in Canada but am coming over to visit in October. Thanks for your speedy reply.
@sarahmais1 It is a very pleasant area to explore. The paths where we walked that day for the greater part are too narrow for a motor vehicle to travel on, but there are many other routes. There are some Land Rover tours you can charter Contact the Exmoor National Park on the internet to get details. You may also be interested to see the my video OPEN TOP BUS AROUND EXMOOR.
I loved this one Mike, the music gives it a wonderful 50's feel so reminiscent of the days when walking was so popular...some stunning images and it looks such a beautiful place through which to stroll...Thanks again for those few minutes of armchair walking along with you...Bob
