And removing the ability of illegals to go to school, collect welfare, and use all our other services without paying taxes would help, too. The real pressing issue is the drug game. If it weren't for many Americans drug habits, we would not have such a fucking mess in the first time. YES. Statistics show illegal immigrants are 5 times more likely to commit crimes OF ALL KINDS than others. That's the nature of living outside the law.
That said, I think the solution to this whole illegal immigration problem is to lift the immigration cap enormously. Then illegals will become legal and the culture of criminality will be curailed.

You get these bigots who scream from the top of the hills that illegal immigrants are taking all the jobs. I don't support illegal immigration, but when those people offer an opportunity for these citizens a job that some profess that these immigrants took from them and most don't even want to do them, it sickens me just how some just want to point fingers.
Colbert's report is so true that it pains me to say these same bigots will undermine him because he's a comedian, so his words don't count

I think you're misdirecting your blame at the comedian. It's the government's fault for allowing him to testify. They were the ones not doing their jobs. And it's people not doing their jobs who are screwing up this country. That's why Colbert does what he does. He's showing us just how pitifully certain industries, like the news and government industries are doing their jobs. TV is generally a colossal waste of time and money. I will give you that.
