  • economical relationsships okay, but no reunion

  • taiwan...please come home. we, china miss you alot, please come home. thank you.

  • my pride as a chinese.

  • whats the name of the guy from the black car

  • lol I'm just terrified that China will spread those ugly simplified ideograms if they ever unified with Taiwan.

  • dispite such hateful outburst from people on youtube. both the mainland and taiwan government smarting up. the mainland realise that threating the island will not bring a desired result, thus it decided to observe during the 2008 elections. meanwhile, both the KMt and the DDP realsie that any major change in status quo will provacate the mainland, and thus has decided to stay quiet about this issue.

be thankful, it could be a lot worse.

  • The sentiments expressed in this video are indeed commendable but unfortunately unrealistic as China does not respect Taiwan

  • taiwan and japan

  • Taiwanese or Chinese it does not matter. In America all of you are just Chinks because you "look alike".

  • This is why we Asians should work together cuz to every other non-Asian we all look the same. To the west we all look alike. Don't matter what if you are japanese chinese or korean. We all get treated like Asians.

  • That says a lot more about the respect that Americans show for others than it does concerning Asians.

  • Taiwan is a country!!

    not a part of china

  • that is not correct.

  • can you provide a download link for this video? thanks!

  • fuck piece of shit japan, and fuck you!

  • fuck china

  • don't start a war here..this ad conveys message of peace..japan and taiwan unite? sure go right ahead...start a war

  • a very touching ad..we need more....peace and no hatred...geez..afterall we are all chinese

  • WOW!!! y do politicans complicate everything?

  • I like the BMWs...

  • Yes, I agree. Why can't my country be friends with your country?

  • china- One china not two or three or four..

Tibet.Taiwan..HK are part of China because we are just one big happy family..screw the gov and the politics and those old guys running the country..as a citizen..we don't want any independence and war..all we need is mutual respect and peace

  • Taiwanese may seem to be wanting political freedom on the surface, but most of their citizens are just cocky unpatriotic assholes who think chinese are low-class poor people. They diss the way Chinese talk and write, when they are the ones who talk with accents. In other words traitors of their own blood and ancestry.

  • what about taiwan-accent mandarin? See the wording: Mainland and Taiwan; not Taiwan and China

  • I am Taiwanese and I don't think that's true. Maby few Taiwanese are like that but not most of them. Sometimes Taiwanese even imitate mainland accent. There is a lot of fight between mainlanders and Taiwanese on youtbe. But in real life, I rarely hear Taiwanese look down on mainlanders, they just criticize Chinese government a lot.

  • I was looked down by a few taiwanese people..but don't worry..a few miserable jerks won't change my view on the taiwanese

  • @TaiwanLive well there is regional rivalry everywhere, same thing happen in shanghai, hongkong and singapore, it hardly a taiwan thing. I believe Chinese people need to learn to stay united even in our local and political differences because westerner are becoming less and less tolerated of Asian successes. we have to get over this phase of history first and avoid the fate of Japan; earn our place in the world first, then we can talk about a resolution on political differences.

  • That is the best video I have ever seen, hopefully things will go on like what you have imagined

  • Dear Claverly, cross-strait relations have nothing to do with friendship, as such a sentiment can bind individuals. Either we belong to one nation or not, that is the fundamental issue. If some people in Taiwan want to separate from the Motherland and do not consider themselves as part of the Chinese nation, this is, of course, their choice as well as their rights. In this case, and if these people can have their way, adverse consequences are unavoidable.

  • Very good!!!
