  • Thanks greatly for making this wonderful piece available. It has become one of my favourite pieces of music for it's passion for life and its sure expression of beauty.

  • Is there any connection between Little June and the Januaries and January Jones, the actress who plays Betty, Don Draper's ex-wife, on Mad Men?? :)

  • What a great song!!! Lush melody, and great doo wop effects. Can anyone supply any info on the group??

  • I've seen Profile Records once before....Little by Little by Junior Wells I believe, a good one.

  • oh what a song!

  • These songs are life savers when things are looking bleak....brings me right back to the days of the 45 and the cases we carried them in...yay

  • This song was around when I was courting my then girlfriend (later wife) and I bought it for her. She still has the record, we are still married and I still get the same feeling when she is around after too many wonderful years to count. Thank you PJDooWop for uploading this.

  • Rare Doo Wop like "Little June & The Januaries" only goes to show that Doo-Wop, is surely the greatest sounding music to one's ear. Thank's for doing the 18,354 who enter this site the chance to listen to this great sound.

  • @stripemister Doo Wop indeed, without doubt the greatest music to one's ears. Long live the sound.

  • You're welcome. Glad to bring you back to it

  • Nice Record. I have this record, but on the Last Chance label. Do you know if this is an original label or a boot leg/pirate version? Not sure where I got it.

  • Last Chance is a reissue label. It wasn't a boot... They did legal reissues. The Last Chance copy is probably worth about $10

  • beautiful and my brother has one of their records he collects records

  • the ony other one I know of is Hello on the Salem label (mega rarity)

  • Great stuff....it's so bittersweet to get lost in these cuts for hours on end.

  • Great song!!! Thanks for putting it on.

  • Fantastic! Now it is my fav. Thanks

  • You're welcome :)

  • great group

  • Yes they are. Hello (the rarer of their 2 45s) is just as good.

  • Just checking your description, Profile (although based in Chicago) seemed to pick up at least one other artist from the North Carolina/Virginia area. One example is Mickey Hawks ('Bip Bop Boom', etc.). Maybe they had a scout down there, as Chess had in Memphis and Louisiana, Modern in Memphis and Texas, and Aladdin in New Orleans. Just a hunch.

  • That would make a whole lot of sense. Thanks for the clarification :)

  • Great post. I've got another by them on Salem called 'Hello' which is also excellent. If I get a chance I'll put it up.

  • just great.i have enjoyed just about all i have hear so far...great work and the look is just lovely...thank you for sharing my friend

  • Thank you so much for the kind comment :)
