**k, so, I'm 12, and I'm showing my bay at just local shows. I have a cherry colored show saddle, but I notice lots of people have tan colored. Is mine okay for local shows?**
ashleyfield71 I feel sorry for you too because the "half dead" wp horses aren't the true beautiful wp horses to watch. And don't diss the sport unless you know what your talking about. By the way love your video beautiful horses!
Hey ashleyfield71 it must suck to know that you are one of those NARROW minded asshole who probley own a mule and talk crap about WP horses because you have never had the chance to ride one. i feel bad for you....

whys it called western pleasure. it has to be the most implesent "wester" horse sport there is. they got there noses dragin in the dirt, its as if there brain dead with ugly little wanna' be barbie dolls riding them. its not beautifal its grose that a normal horses walk is a western pleasure horses lope.
Obviously you have never seen a true western pleasure horse. The tip of their ears is no lower than the top of their shoulder and their movement is very free flowing. It's called pleasure, because it is a pleasure to ride is very comfortable and you cold sit on it all day. Honestly people need to get with the times the "peanut rollers" have been out for quite some time.
I take offense, i ride western pleasure. we can get dirty too - all horse people do. and there are no more peanut rollers anymore, these horses have nice slow forward motion that is very comfterable to sit on!
I beg to differ...I see many peanut rollers still. Mostly in the Paint Horses. I don't like it...but I don't like a levle head eather...I like it just i little below the horn. And yeah...we western people can me dirty...but i see worse is so many other breeds...so I guess were all equal.
look, if there's slack in the reins, the horse is choosing to hold his head low. they don't look crippled. how would you like it if i said your horse was ugly?
Lol my national dressage horse can lope, we usually do it for warm up cause when she has such a low head set it workes the muscles over her back really well and it is easier to get a better trot and canter later and I don't know why she doesn't just do a proper canter but when she does lope I let her so long as she is round cause I can always make the canter proper again if she is round ans soft.
sweet i so wanna do HUS never done it before and my boi is more hunter type then pleasure but meh not much competition were i live so i make do and he is getting better :P and so am i lol
@ropincowgal I love HUS! Good luck if you compete in it. If you need any tips for competing, just ask! I also have some videos of my horse and I competing in HUS on my channel. Hope this helped!
lol so you should be id choose pleasure, halter or HUS over any english prissy discipline any day i just find ppl are more friendly and respect each other unlike some of those pc ppl and that. no offence to the many out there who do do the pc and english circuits but not for me :P

@oddballandme Boy is that the truth! The western pleasure horse of today carries its head so low it looks cowed. Racehorses carry their heads higher.
