the assembly time and weight is always a factor. when I hit the range to shoot videos I hate having a 30 minute setup and tear down. looks good, and I'll be buying or building one for next year or when the economy improves. the problem is there is few practical shots shown by every day people, so rather than expanding the base of potential users, it just limits the potential buyers
unlikely we will have the funds to review the Proaim jib this year, but it's been on the want to review list for some time. very simple design.
