Brilliant! It was a double-viewing treat. I love old Pontiacs! The '59 (0:40) was so cool. As to the then-new '67 Bonneville convertible (1:01), the band must've been doing well to afford it (or were they using Daddy's car?). Eric & The Norsemen may also have been rolling in the coin; they're driving a then-new '67 Camaro - pulling a trailer no less. The clip of the Shadows of Knight (1:33-1:42) was waycool. IMHO Jerry McGeorge out-Mick Jaggered ol' tire-tread-lips 'mself on the maracas.
Fab choice of base soundtrack - everybody did R66. Love this video and the great work you've done on the tribute website. Just keep it up and keep on enjoying the great times - then and now.
Some say The Frantics version of Route 66 from 1965 or 1966 is the best. Good luck finding a copy but it was on a very scarce CD comp called Punk Classics.
love it, since I was in a garage band in 67 - 69, this really hits home espcially since there is a final scene with the old Silvertone 2x12 amp, just like the one i played on. More vintage clips. from Austin TX

That was, I believe, The Grayps from Ohio. The footage is on a reel with The Dantes...

Thanks for the comment. Which band were you in? Did you record at all?
More vintage clips will eventually be posted but we're working on the DVDs right now.
