LOL. Flash playing videos is nothing spectacular. Rotating some cubes, or making a panorama is nothing special. You evidently have no clue what this is if you're so hard on for this demo of nothing. Im pretty sure I can get the same thing done in javascript. Its all an effect anyway. Baking textures? Im sure Adobe got you to think about playing quake in flash? listen to this guy. on the gpu? are u making a joke? what do u think actionscript is? ECMA scipt. the only thing that will really threaten javascript in native HTML pages is a browser from adobe and thats not going to happen anytime soon. You do realize how processor intensive the most basic flash apps are. the Javascript spec is evolving and up until now all you've seen are basically hacks to get pages to do what they do. DO you really think a plugin is going to stronghold browsers forever?

Actually i always do. im not too sure what your expertise is but i dont think its in flash. Endless blocks dont mean jack, baked circles dont mean jack. you're just another dude who gets all excited when companies like Sony spit out raw numbers. You're just reciting what you saw in some dev promo, its indisputable that flash can achieve more than just dhtml/css/javascript but you havent made any points as of yet. this is bullshit.. and i think u meant 'hardware acceleration' not 'on the gpu'

Very cool stuff, kinda wish that papervision was a slightly more refined API tho. Needs work in a lot of different areas. Good thing its an Open Source project. Regardless, this stuff is the future.

Nice visuals! Although, on the half way it got really boring because of the slow music... its a bad pain in the back to finish something like this! ( not saying that this is bad, im saying it takes a lot of patience) . Great work anyway!
