Sorry mac, but the only class I played pretbc was warlock so I know all about how warlock was pre DC buff and it wasnt that bad. With negative resistances your shadowbolt had a 50% chance to do 25%, 50%, 75% or 100% extra dmg. meaning if you had 0 spelldmg you could crit for 2k and hit for 1k. It was about the same time as we got horror effect on DC that they removed the negative resistance on spells and tbh, I would rather have negative resistance

Drakedog isnt a good player, he wasnt a good player back in the day either. Warlock was just such an easymode class that every noob rolled it and thought this guy was god.

Thing is that destro is only workable in 5v5 and to some degree 3v3 but be prepared to always be first focused target if they notice ya being destro. Destro worked was fun and actually very good pre-bc but nowadays it's just a waste of gear gathering, it's the worst mana drainer ever without the ability to regain some unless you pick soul leech wich suck balls. Destro is pretty much dead, the reason I switched to a mage, helluva lot more fun.

Resillience didn't quite ruin destro. It just made it require skill. I've actually made it to the 1700 ratings as destro in season 1 gear.

i played a lock in Pre-Bc....back when it was still cool, and destro was still viable. I leveled my lock to 70, found that with resiliance that destruction just wasnt viable anymore.

I wasnt the kind of lock who enjoyed draintanking, so i left him behind and leveled a mage.

Anyways, seeing this movie really reminds me of the good old days. Glad its up here
