My Father born in Great Depression and combat veteran Korea cried after seeing this version of Mr Lincoln...the only time I can remember him seeing him cry in my entire life.
@punroxy2012 It's "Golden Dream" which is also the theme from Epcot's American Adventure at Walt Disney World. I've seen it listed on pretty much every music from the Disney Theme Parks album for years -- usually under a listing for Epcot.
I miss this version, a moving speech I couldn't understand as a kid, but now as an adult, I understand it. I've never heard "Liberty" defined in a better way. As relevant today as it was almost 150 years ago.
It's actually the precursor. Disney created the "Mr. Lincoln" show for the NY World's Fair of 1964. After the fair, it moved to Disneyland in California (and has been tinkered with a number of times -- currently hidden by the 50th Anniversary film). The Hall of Presidents debuted with WDW's opening in 1971 and also has changed a number of times -- particularly since we've had six Presidents since then and are soon inaugurating another.
I know that. The pre-show is virtually identical to the origianl WDW Hall of Presidents- down to the narration, sound effects, music, and script. The only difference is that Paul Frees is the narrarator here. Hall of Presidents has been mutilated since then, though.
Wow, Thanks for the memories!

I love the part where Abe says, "it must spring from amongst us, it cannot come from abroad." So true! So true!

Since it was announced that Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln will be returning, you might want to update the description of the video.

This seems to be the original version of The Hall of Presidents.
