  • looser because your brain is loose for racing an evo knowing that he makes more than your sti-nk

  • @mikane24 lol, you probably don't even drive, you sure as hell can't make a complete sentence.. Shouldn't you be in class or something?? It's called racing dummy, i don't care if i lost or not, that's not the point of the video. Since u don't understand, let me explain it; we're both running the same turbo, he has race gas in and i have pump gas in, when "I" put race gas in too, MY car is a HELL of a lot faster than that evo so sorry but technically, running the same fuel, you're wrong ;)

  • @Stimo3 talking about school? i just actually got home at 10:30sh this evening. u said that i don't drive, then watch my video, u dumb fuck face!!! if u put race gas, your car would blow because sti blocks are garbage!!! i'll get cams and e-85 tune soon without building my block to crack 470whp!!! accept the fact that sti is slower than evo, and you shift like grandma hahaha!!!

  • @mikane24 got home at 10:30 huh?? Special Ed student obviously. Think what you want but every evo i've raced on C16/race gas i've never lost and i ran a 10.96 @ 123 on the stock block on my 3rd run with that set-up which lasted ~60K miles, 40k of it being 500whp on the stock block @ 28psi, so it's fast enough for me if you have a good tune it'll last a long time. Now running a built motor with 32psi, so bring your "super fast" evo around and see how bad you beat me ;) Grow up son..

  • @mikane24 LOL, i just watched your video of your "super faster" evo lol, you'd be lucky to run mid 11's at ANY track let alone a crappy one IE fontana.. And you're talking crap on my car?? Come back and talk to me when you can go to the track and break into the 10's son, until then your evo would get killed by my "STI'nker," so what does that make your car? ;) U act like a 16yr. old kid with ur lame comments. N I cracked 500whp on the stock block without cams @ 28psi, now on 32psi/built motor

  • @Stimo3 10"s??? u want me to believe you,,,,, no thank you!!! bwahahaha

  • @mikane24 I could care less what you believe, even with your "bolt-on" 35R it's not going to make near the horsepower a real 35R would, the housings are way smaller and can't move as much air. That's great it's a "20G" equivalent, numerous STI's with 20G's have run mid 11's as well. Yes, an evo 8/9 mod/mod will make a bit more power until you get into built motors, which i have, so that makes a big difference. BTW i typo'd my time it was actually 10.96 @ 126 @ 28psi/stock block..

  • @mikane24 So believe what you want i could care less but I know what i've run and what my car is capable of, and i only got 3 runs with my stock block set-up so i could have cut another .1-.2 off if i drove absolutely perfect. Again, now i'm running a fully built motor at 32psi, it's noticeably faster so it's definitely going to run mid 10's if i drive perfect i have no doubts. Get a real turbo set-up like an AMS kit, then your car will be fast, 35R bolt -on?? LOL ;) You'll learn eventually.

  • @Stimo3 that's just a 20g stock block imagine that loser??? i am getting my stock turbo upgraded for fp black=35r turbine this december and good bye sti piece of shit!!!

  • @mikane24 Go look at my video, when i raced the Ford GT i was running my 110oct map on STOCK BLOCK that made ~450whp, I blew my motor on that run shifting into 4th gear (spun bearing) and he still didnt catch me until ~140, if my motor wouldn't have spun a bearing i wuld have kept pulling on the FGT with only my 110oct. map and those 550hp beasts run mid/low 11's stock. I had a C16 map for the stock motor that made another ~50whp, I pull a FGT from a ROLL w/ it N have AWD w/ +50whp @ 28psi.

  • @Stimo3 i like sti too i am actually gonna get the 2011 sedan obsidian black on january. but just accept the fact that evo is faster than sti mod for mod...

  • @Stimo3 honestly, i just wanna make u mad.. nothing personal lol....... your car definitely moves but i don't know about 10 second on 1/4

  • @Stimo3 so 2011 sti would hold a 3066r? i'm planning on keeping it stock block on 93

  • @mikane24 I don't know much about the new STI's and their motors. I read rumors that the pistons on the new 2.5L's werent as strong as the 04-07's, but that could just be BS. I have heard of plenty of 08's though making good power on the stock block and holding it, again as long as you have a good tune, but it has to be solid because even the tiniest bit of knock running that much power is going to spin a bearing/shatter a piston, etc. If the motors are the same yes, it should hold ~400whp np

  • @mikane24 And i'd highly recommend a rotated mount set-up if you're doing a turbo upgrade, there's too much air to flow and having a huge wheel with small housings to make it fit in to the stock location is just costing you loss of power. Stock location turbos w/ 65lb. comp. wheels make as much power as my 52lb. comp. wheel just because i have the correct size housings for the air it generates. 3076R is a great turbo IMO for the stock block, you can run it on race gas and if tune is solid.....

  • @mikane24 .....You're good to go. But again the slightest bit of knock at these power levels on the stock motor and it's done, which is why my stock motor blew. The stupid tuner "supposedly" made me a 110oct map, only after it blew to find out that he idnt actually TUNE it on 110oct, just dropped timing 2* and boost 2psi from my C16 map lol.. I tried to sue him, along with a couple other people i found out later, but he closed up shop and filed bankruptcy. John Dronas is the culprit, LAZY!!

  • @Stimo3 aww that sucks, how much for a new bulit long block though? well in that case i might just keep my motor stock and just go with a quicker spool which is 20g... any thoughts?

  • looser!!!

  • I agree totally evo definitely has better gearing and that makes a huge difference. If it came down to it, same mods on each car the evos gonna win if the driver is good, its a faster car for drag racing until you start changing the gears in the STI, etc...

  • This race is always gonna be a lopsided battle. The Evo has better gearing and turbo placement than the Subaru. Same octane gas or not the Evo is a better setup for drag racing than the sti. I know it can be drivers race ultimately but is always gonna be a losing battle for the sti unless it just has more power and/or better driver. Not tryna being a dick, I owned an 05 sti

  • that spool made me wet

  • @zmanoside lol yea i LOVE the sound of 30R's.. To be honest one of my buddies went from a 30R to 35R, and even he says he likes the sound of the 30R ALOT better.. It has a hi pitched whistle when it spools whereas the 35R for some reason sounds more like air being pushed, not as much "spool" sound. Prolly cuz it IS pushing more air lol, but just figured the bigger the turbo, cooler it would sound but obviously thats not always the case.. Love the sound of my car, especially with the dump tube!

  • 91 oct vs 100 oct ....mistake race would be alot better on same gas

  • get meth.

  • @derka41 have C16 map now, no need for meth. Its fast enough on pump to pull 505hp zo6's to 90mph its fast enough for a DD, when i want to have fun and really destroy people thats what the C16 is for..

  • i own an 08 sti but im from the land of ams evos chicago IL and and still i love evos nice race

  • @kErOs22 I love em both, both can be made fast, evo for a bit cheaper but with the evo you have drivetrain issues since its a FWD car thats converted into AWD. The STI's drivetrain is rock solid, tranny actually designed/made by Porsche because subaru doesnt know how to make a good MT. I'm still on the stock clutch with ~70K miles @ 400whp, up to 500whp, still no signs of slippage! But STI costs more to make fast and is a new platform out, tuners are still learning to make more power everyday.

  • run the sti with meth and maybe..... coulda kept up. maybe. nice cars though!

  • yeah I said maybe.. ( meaning its a long shot but maybe...) Obviously 91 oct vs. 100 octain isn't a fair race. 100 oct. vs. 100 oct. would even it up a bit, but that evo looks crazy fast.

  • @tredts Actually my best trap speeds are faster than hes even gone and ive only ran it 3 times at the strip, he's had numerous runs and i believe his best trap was mid 120's.. Ive already done better than that on my 3rd pass so my car is the faster one now.. C16 obviously when we both use the same fuel, he doesnt even have a 91 oct. map so cant even race him on just pump..

  • nice race, really no contest if the evo has more horsepower

  • @bkbombers Different dynos read differently, im surprised people havent figured this out by now. Not even the same dyno reads the same on dif. days! Only way to get a good, accurate reading of how your WHP compared to other cars is dyno on the same dyno, same day and preferably back to back, because earlier in the day weather will change later, different temp, etc.. ALL matters. Ive beaten a "630whp" supercharged C5 Zo6 when making "500whp" on a different dyno, which proves my point exactly!

  • but in the end its a mitsubishi.

  • LOL, as usual a evo raping a sti.

  • As usual, a car with 60 more whp defeating its opponent.

  • What dou you drive blacksti5?

  • @maxinator39 probably an sti, hence the name

  • @boostin350z

In 1 week Ill be on my third car in 3 years, anythings possible.

But yes youre right, it was a stupid comment.

  • lol Tell me about it... Why do these guys always even try? EVO > STy?

Besides.. Evo driver was granny shifting and wasn't even in the right power band on the 2nd race with a late brake boost spool up.

  • @SpecVchild LOL, No ACTUALLY he just didnt JUMP the second race like he did first race, and i didnt miss-shift going into 4th like i did in the first race, not to mention we did 4th and 5th last race to see the power difference, driver error taken out of equation as you can tell we only went trough 2 instead of 3 gears. And evo driver wasnt granny shifting he was revving it out all the way to 8.5K except lst gear last race. LOL, N last race was an even take off, NOT a LATE brake boost.. ;)

  • @blacksti5 I would hope so since we're both running the same turbo except hes running race gas 103oct and im running 91oct pump gas.. It should be beating me, and actually IMO by alot more than it did, Its hard to hear but if you notice, first race i shouldnt have even raced he jumped so bad, not to mention i miss-shifted 4th (you can hear my friend in the car even say "yeah you miss-shifted" if you listen closely).. Second race was more even for sure. i'll beat him if we both run same octane.

  • Yeah prolly the beginning of next year sometime i'll be getting a tune on 110 leaded..

  • .63 is smaller, but the 4g63 is a 2L so it doesnt need to tmove as much air, the .63 is plenty for the 2L.. The 2.5L of the subaru however moves more air because it is a bigger motor, so it needs the .82, the .63 on the 2.5L gets choked off and limits HP. First race i missed a shift that's why he instantly pulld like 3 cars. Also if you didnt read the evo is running race gas, while my subaru was on pump gas. BIG difference.

  • @Stimo3 loosing is loosing period

  • @mikane24 first of all its "losing", not "loosing", and second thanks for letting me know that, stealing quotes from fast and the furious or what?? LOL.. loser..

  • @Stimo3 what you mean looser??!! i'll smoke you with my evo too lol if he is making 400whp i am making 424whp at 29psi. sti=slow make too much sound like v8 evo=fucking fast and better than sti at any angle.

  • @mikane24 I dont know why i respond to retards, but YOU SPELLED "LOSER" WRONG SMART GUY! IT'S "LOSER", NOT LOOSER", im not loose like your GF is. Learn to spell at least if you're gonna try and act like u know what you're talking about! Bring your "fuckingfastevo" to SoCal any day and id be more than glad to race you for cash. Sayin he's making 400whp when you're making 424whp just shows how ignorant you are, you CANT compare two cars, two different dynos, different days, etc, etc. etc!

  • @Stimo3 i'm fucking with you bro...

  • LOL....disgrace

  • RnR turbo kit with the smaller .63 hotside. made 460whp on 100oct. and 506whp on c16.. it's a VERy fast evo, all on stock longblock revving to 8.5K and hasnt had a problem with it yet in 2 years (knock on wood)..

  • Very nice!! What kit is the 30r evo running? I love the sound of a ball bearing turbo!!! Nice race!

  • why do you keep saying da?

  • that race is pointless. 91oct vs 100oct

  • Because he doesnt even have a 91 map ;) Only 100oct. map and 116 oct. map.. On the c16 map he makes 502whp.. If he had a 91 map i for sure would have raced him with that too..

  • good run, but why didnt both of you guys run on 91oct? much more fair imo

  • 2008 is going to suck for the evo from what i've heard, they're getting rid of the 4G63..

  • Both are great cars but the Evo is the best. 2008 will be a great year for the Evo and STi, I can't wait!

  • JAJAJAJAA subaru is SHIT!!! go MITSUBISHI!!! you are the KING!!

  • Nice runs with two fast cars :D

  • o plz... da evo is def betta... well depends on da driver 2.

  • nah evo def started earlier.. but the evo woulda won either way..

  • Damn evo floors it on the second honk, not as bad on the second race but still is jumping..
