What the heck was up with Sherrie pushing the stained clothing on the family? How does that have anything at all to do with economics? I hate stained clothing! It looks dirty, sloppy, and presents a bad public image. An excellent brand of stain remover called "Awesome" can be purchased for as little as $1. Why am I getting the feeling that she equated economic level with cleanliness? As long as someone has self-respect and dignity, they can look as neat and nice as possible, regardless of money.

Filling up on salad so they won't eat as much of the carbohydrates? Humans need more than that! And Adults need 6-8 hours of sleep and kids need at least 8! Don't run them ragged! I agree with being positive and striving to be better, but have a balance.... disregard the last comment

They are not being superfical, it's good to care about how you look as long as you don't make it your entire world. Wanting to look nice and be heathly is saying I care about myself, it's not being snobby.

I think Dina has the right idea. We should always strive for better, no matter what our situation is. I dont feel insulted at all by what they are doing and I am on the poorer side, but striving foward with what I want. You should feel good about yourself :) and eating organic food is a start! All that other stuff i so unhealthy and it really is killing you if you were to look at it scientifically...I think sherries family is just finding a reason because it would be too hard to be better :(

I like how Dina was calm and collected...But did not like how Sherrie seemed to be taking it on on the Beauvais. It really bothered me. I think it was more an act of jealousy than anything else.

I understand how difficult it can be for the older boy to read "I am an A/B student, I am an awesome football player" if he is worried classmates of his will see it, especially if they are not true statements at the moment.
