Brock was a beast!! When they tried to make Brock Lesnar a sports entertainer, it sucked, wearing sombreros to mock Eddie Guerrero and other ridiculous nonsense. I'm also glad that the Rock never took himself too seriously. Even when he would get booed out of the building when he was supposed to be the face (Hogan, Lesnar, etc.) you could tell that it never rattled him in the ring. Consummate professional.

Looking at this AMAZING match, it makes me wonder if we will see wrestling get this good of a match again?! Both The Rock and Brock were in their primes and the excitement and enthusiam of the crowd makes this an even more emotional story. I believe currently that the WWE doesn't have what it takes to make a match like this at this time. Would we feel this excited for a Wade Barrett vs. John Cena match or a Randy Orton vs. The Miz match? Let's see what WWE can come up with in the near future.
Man I get chills watching this. This was when wrestling was worth cancelling a night out for... now you'd have to pay me to watch that shit. Listen to the fans in this and compare with now... back here they are AMPED. Lesnar was a fucking beast, the way he steamrolled to the top was perfect for his character. Ah the good ol' days :-)
fans disappointed me booing the rock and chanting rocks sucks and now you all begging him to come back and lesnars in ufc talking trash about wrestling. lol i bet these fans regret doing that
@karan30612- A lot of people have to understand something, not evrybody liked the rock. Although I respect his mic work, and his inring ability, and how muh he contributed to the wrestling bussiness, I hated that his presence overshadowed other enourmous talents such as Benoit, Eddie guerrero, and a few others. For that reason, I was never a Rock fan, but I do admit that he was one of the wrestlers ever known...
@caba2727 yeah man....your right about his contributions and stuff but atleast he never tried to ground anybody like tripleh, hulkhogan e.t.c and plus he was well known for being jobbed to new commers like brock lesner hurricane benoit angle e.t.c unlike stone cold who always refused to lose and being jobbed by a new guy....if rock wanted he could have easily made the script writer by "using his influence" to turn the match in favor of himself...
@karan30612 - that's 1 thing I did not know about Stone Cold, but hey, cockiness es very possible 2 be acquired in this business when u're at that status.
@karan30612 - Very interesting stuff here guys, between the two of you. I know this is months after the discussion, but I have to agree that the Rock never took himself too seriously to have to win all the time. Hogan, Austin and HHH grounded a lot of great talent. Austin grounded HHH in Summerslam of 1999. That's the only reason Mankind was even in the mix, because Austin wouldn't do the job for HHH, but he also slighted Billy Gunn and Jeff Jarrett that same year.
i still remeber watching his debut during a hardcore match with spike al snow and i think maven pretty sure it was maven probley the most physical moves i will ever see inside a werstling ring. jawdropping cause back then wwe was exciting. now there pg :( so GAY
