@steamgamesfan2 honestly I like regen hp but I hate modern shoters, that's why I love Hexen. So what so good about this game? Does it have some kind of BFG10k and Flamethrower?

@Jitterskull It has pretty big weapons, but it's preferable to stick to tiny lil pistols, use stealth tactics and taze people from behind (instant KO) but there's definitely a flamethrower. Anyway, the reason this game is good is because it's revolutionary. Lots of redundant features exist to surprise you no matter what route you take, a great plot ALL based on real conspiracy theories, memorable characters, fantastic music. It just feels like the most deserving game I've played.

If you guys want a real challenge play this game on "Realistic" difficulty with the following rules: No augmentations at all, only increase your skills to "trained" level, and MUST play a combat role.

Shit gets pretty hard pretty fast and it wont be long before this song becomes the theme song for all that is frustrating :P

But it's pretty damn close! Best game of the year by far. Funnest stealth and gunplay since long and great sidequests and exploration. The hacking is nifty, too. Flaws? Not a lot of them. I can name one, though. The music is not nearly as good as the original. It's not melodic, but goes for ambience and suspense instead, which is too bad.

@HarpoTheVillain You can't always pull that off with the presentation, today. While this music may fit into the first game, it'd seem out of place in the new one. I'd say the music's more than acceptable. Also, I sometimes find that this is in many ways *better* than the original. Less wasted space, for one thing. One worry I have is that a lot of DX fans stick to nostalgia.
