There were a few fixed rides there like the river caves, but the cyclone was one of the 1st to be demolished.

There was a protest to stop it been taken down but the pleasure beach (who owned pleasureland) really wanted it knocked down, they were willing to pay for demoliction.

My humble opinion is that it got knocked down beacuse they didnt want someone else buying the land and the coaster to make money off it and to distract people from the pleasure beach.

@MRrollercoastermania was an emergency stop. beacuse the other chain lift was the next block brake so the computer stoped the train on the lift until the other chain was clear.
