Yo, I've seen this video a year ago, I immediately sat down to book and started to draw and I believe that through this I started to think about when drawing. I know with how hard it is to keep going with the frustrations of learning artistic skills, theres many times i could have quit and now i would not be painting, and it could be the same for many others. I think this is the best tutorial i've seen. It's hard to make a good tutorial about graffiti, because graffiti is about drawing letters and adding your own style. But i think you managed to make a pretty good tutorial for beginners. Big up!

I learned without any "tutorials" or anyone showing me, so i know anyone can do it. Hopefully with my help, it wont take as long to learn cus youve got a basic technique to start with.

My advice for colors is just use colors a lot, play with them a lot, use them in different ways, and just always pay attention to everything you do as youre doing it so your mind registers everything that happens, so over time all the info goes together till eventually you know enough to know how to recreate certain things you know youll like.

@reskillmows okay so i got just a couple of handstyles for tags and stuff that are pretty dope i could do throwies and stuff but when i pick up the pen and paper when i get off the streets i try to piece because i have tag handstyles down but i needed to work on my letter structure and this really helped me thank you for putting so much effort in your videos because it really helps

Allow yourself the time to develop skills and discover your talent. It takes tons of practice. Think of a doctor. can you imagine how many things he needs to learn ,and things to practice, before he performs his first heart surgery? Dedicate to lots of practice, and also create and discover ways to make practice fun!!!
@3o3nelson The reason we get upset when were " not good" is because we have an expected outcome, feel like we failed, and dont like that feeling. trust that with time and practice you will keep improving, and see every "mistake" or "faliure" as information of how NOT to do something so that you can eliminate that from your next try , or know what to specifically focus on to get better in the future

I loved it when you said "make it real traditional, just the way everyone likes it..." because thats the idea that most new starters get that you need a certain style to achieve before they feel succesful. And its true, even as you progress, that typical traditional style is still pretty sleek, hahaha. I think the most exciting part is when people start to develope from styles they see, to develope originality. But don't feel afraid to play with different styles and structures.

This is where I need the most help! I have been working on my lettering and wildstyle for about a solid year and just can't seem to grasp the concept behind 3D and some of the other intricacies that you need to know to have pieces POP. Can you possibly go into this a little further or discuss some practice techniques for 3D?? Thanks man!! Awesome stuff!
@allhailCardiel420 In essence, the piece will pop if you, the artist, are in the piece. Get out of your head, let go of technicalities, and explore the process as you feel it come to you. The ability is within you, you just have to discover it. Focusing only on techniques might make your work stand out in a way but it will have no life.
yeah this is on point my mentor taught me how to do letters like this a year ago and ever since then i've improved GREATLY. took a bit of practice to understand how to make my letters have flow but i got it after a little. I still struggle with drawing pieces, burners though.

Go out and look at other peoples graff, take pictures. Go under bridges and by rivers and derelict buildings. Check out peoples tags and make sure you don't end up copying letters similar to someone who already writes.
Practice your alphabet and find a word you can write fluently and make sure it looks good, don't over complicate it.
Practice a throwi on paper, look at other peoples styles and make sure you don't make yourself look stupid by biting someone elses letters.
@fleedatplace23 Hey bro, dont bite, at all, just do a basic letter and pull the lines like this tutorial says, it'll help You develop Your own style nd get a feel for Your graffiti rather than following someone elses, Id say go taggin but make sure Your tags readable so its recognised, but dont do a throwup until Your happy with it, and for Your blackbook, just practise doing lots of peices and throwups, wildstyles and characters, and have a page full of tags :) MENT2

And dont bite, but try other styles, so if you see a style you like, try it on paper, that really helps. but when it hits the wall you should feel good and already mastered you own style

This is where I need the most help! I have been working on my lettering and wildstyle for about a solid year and just can't seem to grasp the concept behind 3D and some of the other intricacies that you need to know to have pieces POP. Can you possibly go into this a little further or discuss some practice techniques for 3D?? Thanks man!! Awesome stuff!

@allhailCardiel420 In essence, the piece will pop if you, the artist, are in the piece. Get out of your head, let go of technicalities, and explore the process as you feel it come to you. The ability is within you, you just have to discover it. Focusing only on techniques might make your work stand out in a way but it will have no life.

yeah this is on point my mentor taught me how to do letters like this a year ago and ever since then i've improved GREATLY. took a bit of practice to understand how to make my letters have flow but i got it after a little. I still struggle with drawing pieces, burners though.

you cant do a tutorial -_- everybody has to practise himself...im fucked up when i see little toys biting and dont have knowlegde about what they do they are going to wikipedia and reading ah yeah fame , beef ,crossing that is stupid then they are going out and cross oldschool legends and destroy the game they look graff vids like this onei just want to say that everybody has to sketch his own letters !! you cant show how to make a graffiti letter thats not true but anyway respect for ten years

nowhere in any of my videos do i say anyone HAS TO do ANYTHING a certain way. My overall message is observe and take what you will, and do what you want with it. The word SUGGESTION means "this is something you can try if you want to". I am %500 against using the words "should" or "have to" . Those ideas take away the Human experience of True Freedom. And hey man, nobodys perfect.

@reskillmows yes of course youre right and excuse me when i overreacted...this video is okay and your opinion, but i ment that today little kids think aah graffitii i can do this too and then they make misstakes and they are spraying for some weeks and then they never spray again, back in the days they asking you what youre doing? answer: graffiti! then they say ive never heard about this. today so many people are stupid it doesnt make fun, everybody start with graffiti because its cool today

@MidoM66 I hear you. The way i see it if someones getting into something for the "wrong" reasons, they will just have a lesser experience of it. They will not experience the real meaning of it. And like you said, lots will quit. To me, that sucks for them. Many people never go deep enough in a deep and meaningful thing, and explore the depths of their being.

Go out and look at other peoples graff, take pictures. Go under bridges and by rivers and derelict buildings. Check out peoples tags and make sure you don't end up copying letters similar to someone who already writes.
Practice your alphabet and find a word you can write fluently and make sure it looks good, don't over complicate it.
Practice a throwi on paper, look at other peoples styles and make sure you don't make yourself look stupid by biting someone elses letters.

@fleedatplace23 Hey bro, dont bite, at all, just do a basic letter and pull the lines like this tutorial says, it'll help You develop Your own style nd get a feel for Your graffiti rather than following someone elses, Id say go taggin but make sure Your tags readable so its recognised, but dont do a throwup until Your happy with it, and for Your blackbook, just practise doing lots of peices and throwups, wildstyles and characters, and have a page full of tags :) MENT2

And dont bite, but try other styles, so if you see a style you like, try it on paper, that really helps. but when it hits the wall you should feel good and already mastered you own style
