tom really is an amazing singer. static prevails is probably my favorite Jimmy Eat World album and that had the best blend of both Jim and Tom.

I hate the way that pauly shore looking ass sounds when he takes the lead vocals in a song. He just pisses me off.

That "Pauly Shore" guy's name is Tom Linton; and without him there would be no Jimmy Eat World. The name Jimmy Eat World has nothing to do with Jim Adkins, but with Tom and his brothers. His voice is more "Emo," but so are the style of his songs. He sings much more about hardship and being outcast than Jim does. And if you're so perfect as to hate someone with hardship in his life, then you probably never took a risk before, and, in turn, are a failure.

tom was the original lead i think, then jim took over b/c he harmonizes better, i tihnk tom writes pretty well though, maybe better, his other really good song is "Call it in the air" off Static Prevails
