The ACC broke a NCAA record for having the most teams bowl eligible in one conference. Every year the SEC only has like 4 good teams and the rest is garbage. Look at UF's schedule. Miss State.. FIU.. Troy.. Charleston Southern.. not one elite school on the schedule. When will UF grow the balls to go to Norman, South Bend, or Lincoln to play some big name programs? The SEC is a joke. Ok lets walk through UF's schedule in FSU's shoe's. I'll mark they games we win with x's. vs Hawaii x vs Miami x @ Tennessee x vs. Ole Miss x @ Arkansas x vs. LSU x vs. Georgia x @ Vanderbilt x vs. Kentucky x vs. The Citadel X vs. South Carolina x So looky there that's 11-0 depending on who the 12th is since we can't play ourselves that's 12-0 or 11-1. Either way we have the same or better season then Florida playing in the SEC. And every "big game" was in the state of Florida.
Austin, I think FSU would have problems with half those teams on UF schedule last year. They could go 11-1 but its not probable. I hope they go 11-1 this year and win the ACC. Florida vs FSU in the BCS NC game would be really great.
Well of course we would. Ole Miss, LSU, Georgia, and Miami would be pretty good games but I believe FSU could win all 4 as long as we don't have half the team suspended or something dumb like that. And I hope FSU makes the title game and I think we will have a great season but don't expect us in there just yet. And I know Bama has won a bunch but they haven't won since 92.
ehh. But see a big part is that UK, USC, LSU, Ole Miss, and Miami were all home games. Plus a neutral site against UGA so that gave UF an edge and it wouldve gave FSU an edge too. And FSU in the SEC would just make the conference scary. Especially if you swapped us with Vandy or someone like that. And considering FSU has a history with LSU, UF, USC, UGA, and Auburn plus a few matchups with Bama, Tenn, Ole Miss, etc we would fit right in. But were in the ACC and proud.
ACC was a really nice fit for FSU no doubt. Especially in basketball, baseball and some other sports. It would have been fun to have FSU in the SEC east though. Can you see FSU playing Georgia, Tennessee and South CArolina every year, that would have been exciting to say the least.
So FSU goes 11-0 playing the same schedule UF does? Well that makes a lot of sense considering FSU lost to Florida by 30...AT HOME. How about those USF Bulls?

The ACC broke a NCAA record for having the most teams bowl eligible in one conference. Every year the SEC only has like 4 good teams and the rest is garbage. Look at UF's schedule. Miss State.. FIU.. Troy.. Charleston Southern.. not one elite school on the schedule. When will UF grow the balls to go to Norman, South Bend, or Lincoln to play some big name programs? The SEC is a joke. Exactly. UF hasn't played an out of conference road game outside the state since 1991. That means that the only road games UF plays outside Florida are the same old teams UF always plays and has hours and hours of tape on. Bama travels, LSU travels, VT travels, FSU travels, Miami travels, USC travelled all the way to UVA last year. I know every school that's big in college football travels. Hell even UF's last 2 bowl games have been in the sunshine state. Its ridiculous. We go to Provo this year and then to Norman in 2010. Miami already traveled to OU and they are scheduled to go to Ohio State and Nebraska in the next few years. VT has gone to USC, Nebraska, and LSU. Hiding in the Swamp is a good way to put it.

Why not UF? USC is a far better team, yet they played at UVA in 2008. Ohio State played at USC. They have no excuse.

Well that excuse isn't even legit. Look at the teams in the SEC. Alabama got killed by Utah, Ole Miss beat UF but then couldn't even beat South Carolina. Georgia didn't beat 1 legit school, LSU was terrible.Tennessee, Kentucky, Arkansas, Auburn, and Mississippi State weren't even bowl eligible. And Vanderbilt was garbage. UF will never schedule a team worth a damn. Forget the fact they never leave Florida but they don't even play a good fucking team.

The Big Ten has Ohio State and Penn State. In case you didn't know, FSU in 2008 had the best record in 5 years, had a QB with the most rushing yards since Charlie Ward, and one of the best OL units in the country. All that despite massive scholarship reductions. And FSU had a Rhodes Scholar starting at Safety the entire season. Yeah, FSU went to some lower-tiered bowls, imagine that! ehh. But see a big part is that UK, USC, LSU, Ole Miss, and Miami were all home games. Plus a neutral site against UGA so that gave UF an edge and it wouldve gave FSU an edge too. And FSU in the SEC would just make the conference scary. Especially if you swapped us with Vandy or someone like that. And considering FSU has a history with LSU, UF, USC, UGA, and Auburn plus a few matchups with Bama, Tenn, Ole Miss, etc we would fit right in. But were in the ACC and proud.

i certainly hope you are, somebody has to knock the gaytors off their perch and their too chicken to schedule us more often than twice a decade, a loss to fsu this year certainly is a setback for us but it doesn't stick us in the mud (atleast not to stay lol) seeing as a month later that's the last game we've lost and if we get even half the linemen we're in contention for right now we'll be back sooner rather than later. hope to see yall in tampa this year
