  • a googol is 10^100 which is 10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000,

    a googolplex is 10^10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

    hurendously large

  • Why is the audio mono?

  • I created a new number Googolplexia,Googolplex followed by Googol zeroes which would rip apart the fabric of the space-time continuum which was theorised by ALBERT EINSTEIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Ever heard of graham's number?

  • actually the highest number is googleoldcaplex

  • how many square centimeteres are there in the universe

  • Nice video! ...

By the way, what can you say about Graham's number, how large is it?

  • Centillionplex ^centillionplex (you can extend this chain with ease, but I choose not to), suddenly 1,000,000 seems very small to me

  • Centillion has 303 zeros. Googol has 100 zeros. Googolplex has Googol zeros. CentillionPlex would have Centillion zeros. Which is 10^10^303 > 10^10^100 (bigger than googolplex) We couldnt write googolplex even if we had paper big as universe.

    Think about it.

  • GoogolPlex is big big big number.Number is : 1000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000Is googolplex.

  • @sundjerbobkanal1 thats not a googleplex......

  • @sundjerbobkanal1 lol googolplex is much much much bigger than that....

in fact, writing googolplex in numerals is physically impossible; you would need more space than the known universe to write.

  • @sundjerbobkanal1 bull shit its like A SHIT LOAD TO THE 10 TO THE 10 TO THE 100 POWER WAY MORE 0's

  • ill try to write googol plex so 1000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 thats all i could write but is much bigger than that

  • Googolplex is a mere speck compared to Graham´s number. Now that number is a deep mystery, in fact it is far bigger than my concept of infinity... Friends, just type: "A taste of infinity" and enjoy the ungraspable mysterious ride!

  • Hopefully the levels of notation would not be so numerous that they too would trail down a series of notation levels, even if these never reach infinity there is a rough point where numbers curl in apon themselves or where they make little sense. Altimatly this is just representation. There is a point where numbers almost transcend numbers. This is something to think about.

  • A number like 10^(1,000,000,000,000,000,000) would be notated 10^(10(18) and a number like 10^(10(1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000) would be notated like 10^(10(10-21), even another notation level or so, these would not be exact notations but something similar to it. It is also possible to notate wich level of notation that is being used. 1 could be represented like [1, 10 could notate like [2, 10^10 be [3, 10^10^1,000 be [4, 10^(100) be [5, 10^(10(10,000) be [6 and 10^(10(10-89) be [7.

  • Well as far as notation there is a number called Googoldecaplex notated 10^10^10^10^10^10^10^10^10^10^10^100 being 12 levels of exponent but what if you had a number like Googolcentiplex, centi meaning 100 really 100th but same concept being 102 levels of exponent or Googolmilliplex or Googolterraplex you would consequently need another notation like 10^(102), 10^(1,002) or 10^(1,000,000,000,002). But a number like Googolexaplex, Googolyattoplex or Googolxonaplex xona meaning octillion.

  • if a googolplex is too large to write out, even if all matter in univers was turned into paper, then can it be written out in cyberspace? How much computer memory is needed if it could be done? BTW I heard of something called grahms number, it is rummored it is one of the largest named numbers. What are such large numbers used for?

  • @Petrazenka You can easily type Graham´s number into english wikipedia and everything will be explained to you (if you could understand quite difficult math behind it) :-)

  • Cool

  • What about 1 QUADROOGLEPLEX thats one followed by one googolplex zeros. That would be 10^10^10^100.it will just go on to infinity never ending.

  • Its not hard if you have a good memory and love numbers

  • Googol: 10 to the power of 100: 1 followed by 100 0's

    1000 .... ... 000 (one hundred zeroes)

"ten billion billion billion billion billion billion billion billion billion billion billion"

    ________________________________________________

Googolplex: 10 to the power of a googol: 1 followed by a googol 0's

    1000 ... ... 000 (one googol zeroes)

No one would live long enough to say "billion, billion, billion...."

  • Actually I think it was his Neice that recomennded the word googol.
