I saw this when it played on the history channel, there was a short no bs segment where they rode shotgun in a plane that was actively engaged in weather modification. They explained how it works in detail, and confirm its existence. I really need to see this whole video uploaded as a reference for people who dont know of it yet. Please post full video or at least the scene I need. thanks.
I didn't know anything about Black Sunday or Hugh Bennett until this video. I am ashamed, as most people should be. America would be a true world leader if only we prioritized the advice of our great scientists.
@freebaker -- I can recommend a very harrowing book on the Dust Bowl called "The Worst Hard Time" by Timothy Egan. It was so much more devastating than I'd ever realized. These dust storms and dust blizzards blew frequently throughout the 30s, but Black Sunday was the biggest of all. There was unbelievable devastation over a huge area during this time. The suffering is unimaginable.
I went to look for this video after seeing the news on the large dust storm that hit Pheonix AZ.

"The Worst Hard Time" led me to search out this and other videos. The book is great reading, & this is stunning history.

I was 5 years old when Black Sunday happened. They are talking about CCC camps that planted trees and built lakes and flood levees.

@zamaz99 -- Wanted to add, Egan is the one speaking on camera about Bennett.

@freebaker Yeah, its a shame that so many people choose to place personal beliefs over science.
