  • lmfao

  • how much was it for that kit?

  • @Rattlehead0000 there is an easy fix to it tho if you throw a sand bag in front you get the proper bass sound

  • @Rattlehead0000 120 million records sold, being on the top of the big four . mmmmm that rings a bell or not

  • solar cymbals ???????????

  • it was the same rythem as after life by avenged

  • That wasn't Metal, it was Fall Out Boy's Dance Dance!!!

  • that sounds like punk...

  • Yeahh...METAL!

  • Too bad thats punk.

  • lol im tough by him every wednesday!

  • all u ppl starting up that stupid war about "nu metal" vs "heavy metal" and crap like slipknot vs iron maden...ur idiots metal is metal is metal from classic metal like sabbath to nu metal like slipknot to hardcore like norma jean so go shut the fuck up i mean seriously and most nu metal bands name heavy metal bands as theyre main inspiration so all im saying is if the bands like each other and play together why the hell are the fans being so fucking stupid

  • wheres the double bass blast beats?? haha

  • that is punk more than metal

  • thats punk not metal

  • exactly man....i said the same thing, its more into punk nt metal.

  • @aassyr1111 And, coincidentally, what most thrash beats are... listen to almost any Metallica drum part. Just like this.

  • Honestly, this set gets a lot of bad press about just being a beginner's kit, whilst if you get the whole set in one box, you will quickly find the Stock cymbals simply there as value and they rlly do not sound great, however, as soon as you get this thing micced and replace the tin cans with some Custom A Zildijians, for example, this is both a practical and nice sounding kit (:

  • great explanation there

    "METAAAAAL"

    "YEAAAH"

  • Thank you for a good demo. I´m thinking of buying this kit and you made me want it more. And I don´t care if it was metal or punk. It was music and it was good playing and fun!

  • Right you lot - i hat e metal and i hate punk so it doesn't matter if it's genre specific - all I'm doing is demostrating the possible vesitilty of this kit. I understand that you all think i'm not a metal drummer but equally i' not a punk drummer either - I do loads of seesions and teaching anyway I don@t have to justifiy my playing to you bunch of c###s

  • thats punk... punk. haha. but seriosly. no. and where the *beep* are you. haha i said beep. cuz lil kids go on this too.

  • It's like NWOBHV man!!! That doesn't sound like a Ramones song...

  • IT IS PUNK NOT METAL! and also what was with the thing of "the metaaaaaaaaal" in a gay voice at the beginning?

  • I think it's called "humor". you should check this out.

  • Dude... Iron Maiden type of groove... You shure think that Slipknot invented that genre... LOL

  • ha i hate those guys that are absolutely sure that slipknot INVENTED metal. or that they REVOLUTIONIZED metal. they didn't really do much of anything... besides get joey jordison famous.

  • Yeah... What about... Hmmm... British Steel?!?! WTF these guys are all 12... NWOBHV if you know what is that... LOL

  • That's how metal singers (Iron Maiden, Manowar and Judas Priest) sound... Slipknot doesn't sound like that because is NU metal..: ANd shouldn't be called metal anyway...

  • Hey THATS NOT METAL! THATS PUNK!

i feel like such a pioneer saying that,,,maybe you guys below me should take a hint!

  • that almost pissed me off..

    NOT metal.

  • that was thrash metal....its the ULRICH style......fuck punk

  • that's Punk not metal !

  • punk...

  • that's punk! not metal... -o-

  • lol i get taught by u simon. its oli. u can do better than that....... LOL

  • punk.. not metal.. this is poor ! get some one who can drum, to see f they sound any good... !! poor poor !

  • Thats punk not metal dude.. but not bad

  • not metal more like puuunnk

  • traps are better than flats

    flats are crap

  • im never gonna be able to look ahim witout thinking MEETTAALL

  • You sound just like a guy in my band when he screams metal oon his guitar solo... only we play punk rock.......

  • "METAAAAAAAL"

    nuff sed.

  • punk rock could not destroy the metal!!!

  • Punk rock lost it's testacles to metal

  • This set looks and sound amazing. Just the bass drum doesn't sound that great, but everything else is awesome.

  • So flat drums do sound the same as regular drums?

  • ummm...not really. I think the main difference between them, is the sound of the snare and bass drum. They don't have the "thickness" of sound...that the regular drums have. I'd rather decide to by flat toms seperately, but not the whole drum set

  • Nice!!! Anyone know how much the version without the hi-hat stand, cymbals and pedal weighs?

  • Hi, it weighs abot 23 KG or 50lbs, thanks

  • Nice tunes Simon!

  • I'd really like to get my first drumset, and start getting into drumming. Would this be a good start? Or would I be better off to fork out some extra dough, and get something a little nicer?

  • this is good for beginners and people that dont got alot of room

so yes this would be good but if you go on musiciansfriend dot com you'll see that they offer two models go for the one with the better cymbals its like 140 more but tis worth it

  • yeah I agree that beat sounds more like 80s metal instead of mainstream metal with more double pedal action

  • Hello all - in response to your comments about this groove. the idea is to demostrate that all styles be they generic or authentic are palyable on these drums, thats all. I'm not intending to define a drumming style per sa. Check out some Maiden and tell me thats not metal. Thanks for all the kind comment tho.

  • is that a good drum set? tell me all about it ,i´m very interested!!

  • I just bought it man...very impressed. I highly suggest getting some dampening gels or Remo rings to make some of the excess ringing go away. Other than that, very good drum set.

  • sorry what sounds like punk,,,, are you of your nut, as a drummer for 15 years (guitarist for 3) i would never have played this beat in a punk band, true the definition of metal now seems to be double pedals and such, but what about in the early 80's when a lot of metal bands didn't use double pedals.

  • All of these people who are scrutinizing this video for "not being metal drumming" and stating that it needs double bass and blast beats should realize something: metal is a BROAD genre, it doesn't need those elements to qualify as being such and I've definitely heard those beats used in metal bands before.

  • METAAAAAAAAAAL~!!!!

  • oh so you mean "punk" ?

  • need a double bass and blast beats for the metal action

  • um jus a little bit WAY OFF METAL BRO!!! but nice kit though!!

  • well its like more 80s metal.

new metal would neat like 18 pedals and 1000 bass drums.

  • lol lol

  • lol yh u right

  • cool vid. sounds more like punk music though

  • I agree, sounds more like dk's than modern metal.Maybe he meant metal from the 70's and 80's?

  • purty gay

  • hmm

    fallout boy dance dance ?

    much

  • Youre a funny guy! you played whats typical for metal. but i must say..i missed those flams in most metals :D KEEP ON DRUMMING!!

  • cool

  • not quite metal
