    ^-^

  • noches de boliche en rosario, argentina, temazooo¡¡¡

  • @MajCinematic >_> dunno

  • I LOVED this song when I was a teenager. Not so much now.

  • @allidock11 I tI think I am inclined to agree wtih you. I will always remind the strings at the end of the song. It takes me back to the Fall of 1986. I was in the 8th grade. It is not the great song I remember.

  • good looking for 65

  • I had both this and the whole album (a later purchase). Hall and Oates were popular around the world, and this song was also very popular in the UK...

  • great intro

  • @MajCinematic damn right

  • @MajCinematic haha i love it more than everyone else :)

  • About time they have this. Good song.

  • I used to play this song over and over and over. I don't know how my parents kept their sanity xD

  • Billboard's #94 song of '86. Wonder what John Oates was doin' , while Darry was makin' this solo album? Daryl hit #5 pop, #11 rock, #24 AC, in Billboard. God bless y'all, and, Merry Christmas!

  • With all due respect, Daryl Hall gets too much credit for this being a fab song. Dave Stewart was brilliant, making Pachelbel riffs the hook. (see "Pachelbel Canon in D Original Instruments" here on YouTube for a good version.)

  • An All Time Classic ! Sounds Crazy Good On My BOSE System!

  • Great!

  • Am currently looking for this, its a shame its not on itunes, or is it?

  • Top song even had the 12 inch version way back then. thanks for posting. Cheers

  • awesome song, awesome singer, awesome looks!

  • I've always LOVED the album title "Three Hearts in the Happy Ending Machine".

  • I Love This Daryl Hall 1986 Hit, "Dreamtime," Which Was A Top 5 Hit In America.

  • Oh My Gosh,,,, I remember this Song/Album so well (1986) ! I had purchased my "New Sony Walkman", along with Daryl Hall's new Album... New to a this kid was this thing called "Dolby Stereo".. Upon popping the "Cassette" in and Hearing this Song,, I was "Speechless/Catatonic" !! Wow,, (the sound quality) and especially with the ending of this song, hearing the Harpsichord & Violins !!

  • Hit#5 pop, #11 rock, #24 AC in Billboard. God bless!

  • I was 8 and had this song on my German "Formel Eins Hits 1986" tape! Haven't heard it since the 80s! Great melody!

  • underated song

  • Hit #5 in Billboard for Daryl.

  • the chorus reminds me of David Bowie's "Changes," and the arrangement is ELO-like, as others have noted.

  • the first "oooh" sounds like a midget daryl

  • Not herd this track for about 21 years . Why do i detect a touch of Jeff Lynne of ELO behind this tune ?

  • Maybe THAT's why I loved the song back in 86 and have sought it out all these years later after having lost my cassette down the line....!

  • It's not actually Jeff Lynne, but Dave Stewart, who co-produced the album with him. He is known for giving pop music an orchestral flavor. The strings in this cut, as well as the rest of the album, were arranged by the late, great, Michael Kamen, one of Stewart's frequent collaborators. I always thought this should have been on the CD "Dave Stewart Songbook" with his Rock Fabulous Orchestra, because it works perfectly!

  • @ezekiel919 Now that you mention it. It does have an ELO vibe. Reminds me of "All Over the World" from Xanadu.

  • @mohinderbauer I really thought Jeff Lynne had worked with Daryl to make this song.

  • @ChivaInvencible Actually he worked with Dave Stewart from Eurythmics on this album.

  • I love this song! I loved it when it first came out, but didn't quite understand it. It is truly a great piece by Mr. Hall.

  • my god this takes me back in time they were good days back then the with not a care in the world 80s music is the best

  • this is a classic from 1986 it's took me years to get this album on CD
