with 5870 4-way crossfire x, it will get an average 200 Fps (and more) in almost every game at best possible configuration, except crysis.

Quad HD 5870 will need at least 850 watt in Full Load and if the PC have 4 HDD Quad Core Processor Tons of DDR3 Ram you need approximately 1000 watt PSU with Intel X58 Chipset or AMD 790FX motherboard with 4 PCI-Express slot.

single HD 5870 only consume 288 watt under load, but it can be lower when you using more than 2 of them .

some people test Quad Crossfire X with 4 HD 5870 only with 1000 watt PSU and still okay.

Depends on the monitor.

For CRT's, Refresh rate is a DIRECT measurement of how many frames you will actually "see"

whereas in LCD's it's the pixels that change over time (response time) along with the maximum refresh rate. Having a higher refresh rate is better but requires(today) a less color-accurate panel such as a TN based one versus PVA or IPS

What a load of shit. I have played this with 8x AA and 16xAF @ 1920x1080 on a single 4870x2 card with perfect FPS. And that system is worth probably ten times mine and manages to do it at a slightly higher res.

Get some damn real games to test that system out...
