Hey, sorry, I didn't see until now that you asked about how "I" notate the cross stick rolls.. I have to say that the transcription is NOT done by myself: My drum teacher transcribed this (I didn't even ask him if he could do it for me, lol) when I mentioned my interest in DnB music and especially in JoJo Mayer's playing. Anyway, I guess you're referring to the roll at 0:04, which, as you surely have noticed, isn't actually transcribed.. guess that he had no idea either

First there was nothing and suddenly when he appears there are cars. You are also right about then people looking over there shoulder.

They first recroded the street without him and then they recorded him playing and put those 2 shots after each other.
