In my opinion, that line of thought might also refer to the countless contemporary episodes of corruption, scandal and abuse of public faith: sometimes it's simply not enough to eventually see them uncovered and punished - sometimes people deserve to know that justice/good faith will remain on their side, that they won't have to face discrimination alone...

There are actually reallife super heroes.There not as cool as batman or any other comic book superheroes,but thats because there regular humans.They dressup in costumes and have all sorts of gear to help them stop crime.People are giving them alot of hate but some people are actually inspired by them.You can check them out on the internet.

This Movie had ever perfect element. Great writing, Great Director, Great Acting. One of the best movies within the past 5 years. The Dark Knight Rises i predict will have the biggest opening in movie history. As a fan of nolan's work it's sad to see it end, but look foward to see his future work.
@uvhst3p you have to understand what batman stands for, he will not blame someone if they are not to blame, he will not kill someone even if they did the most evil of deeds, i mean you saw how sick the joker was, and batman saved his life, because of what he believes in, what he stands for(like bruce said in batman begins during training or initiation "I am no executioner, i will not take a mans life") in the same sense he won't destroy a mans life by putting blame on him.
I find it ironic how everyone says Heath Ledger was the best thing in the movie and without him, the movie would suck because I think this is the best scene in the whole movie and Heath Ledger isn't even in it
@Rice5phere It gives me chills whenever I watch it, regardless of setting - this movie, and I am a film student, who's watched all the classics, is perhaps the most intricately put-together, artistically sound movie I've ever seen. It's mastery is astonishing and awe-inspiring and it deserves to rank up there with The Godfather and Citizen Kane as on of the best movies of all time.

They believe in justice and so putting the blame on some thug completely destroys what both of them believe in. This is probably the best movie I've ever seen and the acting is also the best I've seen so it will be hard to beat but I also think it was a bad idea to bring in another hero in the last movie of a trilogy(cat woman) but I'm excited to see how Nolan portrays the cat woman in tdkr and I'm also proud that it is going to be filmed in Pittsburgh, my hometown
I'm not a huge fan on Nolan though I do have alot of respect for him as a director, Therefore The Dark Knight's ending was the best since...Fincher's Se7en.
Most people think the dark Knight is the best superhero movie of all times and I am one of those people. the ones who disagree are just saying it louder than everyone else so that we think there are many of them but it's a fact that The Dark Knight is THE BEST superhero film and I don't think the Avengers will do better. Joker could corrupt all the people in the city but he did hit his mark with Harvey Dent...

This is probably the best movie I've ever seen and the acting is also the best I've seen so it will be hard to beat but I also think it was a bad idea to bring in another hero in the last movie of a trilogy(cat woman) but I'm excited to see how Nolan portrays the cat woman in tdkr and I'm also proud that it is going to be filmed in Pittsburgh, my hometown

Most people think the dark Knight is the best superhero movie of all times and I am one of those people. the ones who disagree are just saying it louder than everyone else so that we think there are many of them but it's a fact that The Dark Knight is THE BEST superhero film and I don't think the Avengers will do better. Noone can compete with the interesting source material of batman and the genius of Christophert Nolan. Our Dark Knights.

@l1m0b0at He didnt kill Harvey... two is coming back in the next movie... the the logic of the movie is... the Joker wanted to corrupt the batman according to Joker's very believable theory that people tend to fall into anarchy if forced to the limit and thats what he wanted to prove to Batman either by corrupting him or by corrupting people who are thought to be good and noble... Joker could corrupt all the people in the city but he did hit his mark with Harvey Dent...
