In order to perform this song, a band has to have all parts possess quite extreme rhythmic talent, let alone a drummer who can drum a Neil Peart part.
The fellow players have always appreciated a fine drummer and his solo for it gives them a much needed opportunity for a bathroom break and a shirt change.
Neil Peart(in my opinion) is the best rock drummer......I have been learning from him for a while now.......check out my drum solos at mike pritchett drum solo you tube
Bujin, you are disqualified from any more comments, you moron! You don't have to hate someone to like someone else. Go someplace else. This is not the site for you!
@Blinktwice4yes Why you sorry? It's the truth. These guys are talented as fuck, and have been doing it for 40 years and still aren't tired of each other.
Why do we have to argue about who's better anyway? Jesus, people.
Ok, so Peart technically is the better drummer. But he's also got YEARS of experience on Barker. Why can't we just say BOTH of them are good? Travis has skills, that's for sure. So does Neil. Why do we have to argue about the best? Can you all not handle the fact that both drummers have talent? Are we not capable of liking more than one?
I like several drummers, but even in the 70's when he was starting with Rush, Peart was vastly superior to Barker. He's not bad but he's nothing special imo. And anyone likes Soulja Boy enough to remix it, he is already on my shitlist.
and just to add some salt to the wound, chances are you are just some stupid 13 year old kid that doesn't know shit about music and you're just angry to see a drummer thats 100x better than travis barker
get a life d-bag, neil pert is prob the best drummer of all time, and if you were to tell your so called cousin travis barker that neil pert sucks he would laugh at you because there is no doubt that neil pert has influenced at least indirectly every drummer there is today

Tyman103: Dennis Chambers blows both of them away. So it doesn't matter.
