should try to utilise that spark,,, did you know that that spark is like a diode, yes, you can charge a cap if you run it in series to the sparg gap to cap... just a though and also the spark makes frequency which can be altered, with laden jar/beer bottle capacitors, hence the tesla coil/magnifier
