My partner and i have tried to see Sylvia, solo or with a group [Clarence, Bruno, Brian from Margaree], for more than a decade now, but couldn't find her this summer. We missed her literal, physical voice, and also that larger connection with the Acadian history of Cape Breton. Sylvia, are you out there? Or can someone tell me that she is ok?
@lkoenigl Hi, my name is Geraldine. I spoke to Sylvia a couple of days ago. Sylvia retired a few years ago and sold the Laurence Guest House. I think she sang at Laurie's Motor Inn in their lounge last summer. She keeps busy as always. IF you would like me to pass on a message to her, please feel free to send me an email and I will hand deliver it to her. I told her I would go see her dog soon (my buddy). This is my email : leblanc.geraldine@gmail.com
This is a bit better than "good"....in fact just a little less than divine....but not by much...such a rich voice...so full of texture...any chance of getting the lyrics posted....Acadian ...for starters....English translation ...I'll handle...since most beautiful compositions do not translate well anyway...but that voice....WOW !!
Sylvia, this is the most beautiful, heartfelt song I have ever heard...I listen to it alllll the time.....hugs.....Sylvia Chiasson-Bonaparte (Sylvia a Placide a Ephraime...take care...and continue the beautiful work...
sylvia...your dad was my scout master when I was kid and that wasn't yesterday. I am from Belle Marche but I've been away more than fifty years.Love your music, especialy those old french songs.....G Chiasson
Lovely melody!!! Unfortunately and sadly I dont speak or understand French. My father is from Chetticamp, and my mother always told to go to the Catholic Church and ask for "Alec a John a David" One of these days.......
Sylvia, je pourrait toujours ecouter ta belle musique....tu chante avec si tant de emotion....continue ton beau travail que Dieu ta donner....Merci bien...Sylvia Chiasson Bonaparte....

Could we have more from the Lelievre family? I just love Sylvia. Her brothers are also very good singers. Contunuez votre beau travail!
