The Free Market vs.Government Intervention: An Economic Panel Discussion

What's wrong with having distortions in the market. If my government makes it difficult for my company to sack me that is a good thing. Why should I get the sack just because, say, my company would sooner employ someone much younger who they can then force lower wages on. As you can see, my government increases my liberty and freedom which means I can get real cocky. I also like welfare and state healthcare too, as this frees from so much worry and unnecessary concern. Governments are great!
