@pilif25 lol u can see the film in english right? then don't troll here and **** of. its not stupid i think you have watched a jackie chan film whats on chinese but with different dubbing. you wouldn't watch it if it is not on english because you wouldn't understand the story. and these movies will dubbed in many languages like french italian russian turkish and many more.

@Luccaluke Er hat aber Recht. Bitte nicht falsch verstehen, ich liebe deutsche Synchronarbeit, manche der Stimmen haben es bei mir zu Kultstatus gebracht. Aber bei manchen Filmen ist es einfach nicht angebracht bzw. unmöglich, die Atmosphäre in eine andere Sprache zu übertragen und Johnny English fällt absolut in diese Nische. Ich meine der Name sagt's doch schon. Der gesamte Streifen baut auf dem Gag über englische Agentenfilme auf und der geht ziemlich verloren wenn keiner Englisch spricht.

@lebe2day Grundsätzlich gebe ich dir durchaus recht. Ich mag die englische Sprache sehr und schaue die meisten Filme und Serien am liebsten in Englisch. Allerdings habe ich mir die dann als DvD angeschaft und habe immernoch die Wahl zwischen Deutsch und Englisch. Hier handelt es sich aber um einen Film im Kino und auch wenn immer mehr Deutsche gut Englisch können beherrschen eben noch lange nicht alle diese Sprache,... würdest du in einen Film gehen in dem du die Hauptfigur nicht verstehst?

@pilif25 WTF? you complain about a movie being dubbed? you know that dubbing doesn't destroy the original verison... if you want to you can watch it in english. And why are you surprised about seeing a german trailer on moviemanicsDE??? the DE stands for Germany (Deutschland)

@pilif25 You're right about that. Don't get me wrong, I love German voice-over artists, some of them have achieved cult status for me. But for some movies it's simply inappropriate or impossible, respectively to transfer the atmosphere into another language and Johnny English falls exactly into this category. I mean the name says it all. The whole film is built upon joking about Englisch spy movies and that intention gets pretty much lost if none of the agents actually speak English.
