This is an enigmatic piece by Nakagawa, others of his can verge on emotive but the enigmatic draws me in as it is hard to categorize this sound, I could listen to it every day without getting bored, so unique.
@3245james あいらんど Airando as in island just to expand on your initial comment! I actually found this tab book in Osaka, only knew this song from the album, His tab books are available from a Kyoto stockist apprently.
To feel the music, to live in it - it's possible only for a great master. The only "special effect" of this melody is its individuality and that's really great... Thanks for pleasure, Nakagawa-san :)
This is Isato Nakagawa, he released this album, Idk name, although I have the tab book, its in japanese, this album was released in 1986 and then again in 2000 presumably when his fame was at a higher level, although not massively famous, it must surely be a nice living =)
@aant612 It believe it's a Greven. That headstock shape with lady inlay and banner is very much signature greven (especially that banner). And to add to it, the fretboard inlays are those birds which Kotaro Oshio also has on his Greven OM. In an email I read on a forum, John Greven himself said that he is a long term friend/luthier for Nakagawa Isato and Kotaro Oshio. They're both using the same M-factory/Sunrise pickup system I believe.
your lil wayne cant play nor write music...unless you think pressing buttons for preset drum beats and adding programed chord progressions is your ideal of a musician...sorry buddy you would last in the world of "REAL" Musicians.

涙が出てくる…この曲を弾けるようになりたくて毎日練習してた。譜面が手に入ったときも滅茶苦茶嬉しかったのを思い出すよ。

its almost certainly a Water Road guitar
from a very exclusive japanese luthier
masaaki kishibe and masa sumide also use one but its almost impossible to find info about them on the internet (for me at least!)

What the fuck is up with the comment below? If you feel that way don't watch this and waste your time commenting... go back to the crack pipe.
Anyway this is fantastic! Anyone know what kind of guitar? I really dig the bird inlays on the fingerboard.
MrTaylorN 2 years ago 5
@MrTaylorN Well if you love the bird fingerboard inlays you can check out some inlay stickers to attach on your guitar. It's easy and cheap.
hiluck7 3 months ago
@MrTaylorN Yeah, those are really sweet.
I think, it might be a Taylor, but I'm not sure.
