@DickVanPaiton Agree, Fanatecs Formula 1 rim will be in metal, with alcantara grip, have quick release and it will also cost around 200$ Thrustmasters F1 rim makes me think of madcatz.

@Nefus1988 Though Im buying a CSR-E.... if the F1 rim from fanatec looks better than this... lord help us all... It may be in metal/alcantara, but has far less detail. Also, the F1 Rim with quick release will only work for the CSW... CSR-E will have a install process similar to this above....

@ericknagy: don't need to "re-select" the wheel after every star = just choose "Normal Mode" in Control panel and moves "WET" Metal switch when you launch the game with this message "Press START or ENTER" :)

Got mine yesterday! I think $100-120 would be a better price range... But, still worth it.

Much better than driving with the fixed paddles!

Only issue is the freaking F1 2011 controller problems... Have to "re-select" the wheel after every start...

@imtheduke yeps but honestly , i think its a patent thing or something but if you look carefully there is a plate where the LED's should be with two screws... maybe there is a LED coming up later or you can fit the already avalable one that's on the market en fiddle with that.

270deg in F1 2010 = 360deg in F1 2011. They've changed the wheel travel a little.

If I set my G27 to 360deg, it moves in perfect sync with the in-car wheel in F1 2011.

I got mine earlier it seems, Shaun. I love it as it makes my steering faster and more accurate in F1 2010. Also the grip is really nice, even for me with small (m size glove) hands. Also you can push the shifter paddle two ways on one side, which is nice too for the moments you somehow can't reach left/right to down or upshift at the right time.

Anyway, I'm curious to what you think about it in the review. I'm already waiting for my next package in 2 weeks from now... the TH8 RS shifter. :D

I am not a fan of the replica nature of it, where you have those dials that are just to match the look but are non-functional. I would rather not have them there if they aren't real. Personal preference though.

I have to admit, I am a street car driver in terms of a sim, but that wheel did look tempting.

Sadly though the pedals and especially the brake on the T500RS is WAY too stiff for my tastes, I prefer to drive in socks and not shoes when indoors...

Besides, even my G25 is almost too stiff, mostly because my chair moves backwards during heavy braking.

I want a gd wheel that wworks on GT5 and thee PC (iRacing, rFactor, Richarde Burns) to replace my DFGT. looked at the wheel guide and like the G25/27. But the G27 doesn't have true support on GT5 and the G25 is quite loud, any recommendations, leaning towards a G25, maybe fanatec GT3 RS
