I love videos that make you want to shape your life. What helps me is to see what other people have done to become successful in their lives. Like the documentary My Reincarnation. It is about a son of a Buddhist Rinpoche who is suppose to be a great teacher because he is a reincarnation of the Rinpoche's uncle. @johauHAU I am, but that goal is not nearly as important as being happy. You can try to find out EXACTLY where you come from all you want, but what does that help you? It interests me, but I don't think it's THAT important. Your English is fine btw :)

@johauHAU Having sex and eating is not the same as being happy (although it is a part of it). You can stop eating and stop having sex, and try to find out what your origins are, but then you'll DIE in a couple of days (you do need food and water to survive)!! What if you're being tortured? I'd like to know how important you think you're origins are now!
@nogie8 if i could know our origins for 1 minute, i would die in exchange. food is a necesity and i enjoy it, but i still would rather be starved for a 1000 years in return to know our origins.

@johauHAU We as human beings are indeed curious, but if life itself (or even a depression) is the price, I'd rather go with happiness. I've had a depression not too long ago and I know what being happy is worth. Knowledge is secondary.

@johauHAU I got out of my depression by realizing what a small being I am in this big world. How insignificant and still influential I can be. Life is how you want it to be. Then I realized that it doesn't matter who I am, where I come from or what I do, I create my own reality and invite others into it. I can say, wear and do whatever the fuck I want. And THATS when i realized that my goal shouldn't be "perfection" but "happiness"... The only way to make most of life is by enjoying it fully.
@nogie8 i suffer OCD which means i cant sometimes control my own actions, because the sickness forces me to do stuff that i dont want to, but i still dont think that happines is the most important, the same way going to school is more important than staying home and playing some game over the internet. now that youre not depressed can you give a bigger slice to finding out our origins and science. i am obsessed with it. we need more people to be interessed in it so that someday we could find it.

Although don't share your opinion on what's most important in life I hope you make most of it. In the end I want to live a life that I feel comfortable living, so should you. There is quite a lot known already on where we came from. You should read some books from "Richard Wiseman" if you haven't already. He knows a lot about evolution.

@JinxOz My opinion is that there is no meaning to life. however, and that is why you should do what you think is fun what you enjoy to do. Just try and find the simple pleasures every day. I do not know if this helps you at all but it's my opinion.

Even if something seems to be complicated, it's made of simple steps. And simple multiplied by simple equals simple. And if you meant small... I would advocate going for big pleasures. For a small one can be anything from drinking booz to laying down on a couch. But that can never compare to the biggest joy of 'em all - shaping your own life
