well i can say i totally agree with you... the phantom should have ended up with meg....in the movie when she goes after him in the sewers and shes dressed like a pirate (which i have to say was the sexest shes ever looked in that film! O_O) I had a feeling that she had feelings for him! + christine was a selfish {BLEEP} and raoul is a stuck up pretnecious... FLUBUB... lol sry NEwho...Loved the cover! you make a perfect meg! YAH FOR POTO!

BTW, I think her Point of No Return dress was the most becoming xD. I do love her pirate outfit, too, haha!! Yeaaaaaaahhhhhh... Christine seems pretty selfish, especially in LND. And Meg is just passed over and passed over!!!

@ChildOfTheWilderness Well... I haven't seen the show, but I can tell you that I've been following it since I heard about it a year or so ago.

I think that many phans didn't want a sequel, because after the 1st, where could you go? How on earth are you going to top that? Then you have some who think that Christine should have ended up with the Phantom. I honestly don't see WHY they're complaining, because she was going to stay with Erik. I think... TBC!! I'm running out of room...

In my opinion, I think it'd be a great show. I'm almost liking this music better than the first. I love how it's progression from the 1st Phantom to LND. I think the story's deeper... It makes you think more. And the ending is a HUGE shocker, too. I, personally, think it might be a slightly (if only by mear inches) better show.

THEN AGAIN I HAVEN'T SEEN IT AND WON'T KNOW UNTIL I DO. And it also really bugs me how people JUDGE the show before the see it.

@LittleMeg1992 To me it becomes too much of a conventional romance, losing all the gothic horror that made me like the original so much. I liked the original because it was a horror with romance undertones, not Pride & Prejudice with Mr Darcy wearing a mask as this show is.

@ChildOfTheWilderness You know, it seems that Meg has taken on some of the old, crazy Phantom likenesses in the show from what I've heard. And I agree, Erik's been toned down and calm. O_o He's definitely not the psychopath from the original anymore.

It does seem rather modern, doesn't it? It's not the same, for sure...

My friend totally went hay-wire because she didn't like the story line, and then and there deemed it unfit for her viewing. Which really made me mad, because she and I haven't seen it yet. I think people need to realize that it's NOT the first Phantom. It's a SEQUEL. People are WAAAAY to into sequels and stuff... I mean really.

@LittleMeg1992 The show is certainly big in specticle and has a very fine cast of singers. Some of the songs such as 'Till I Hear You Sing & Devil Take the Hindmost are up there with the best and Lloyd-Webber's music is his best for many years.

But I too rather dislike the story. It is an improvement in many ways from the Phantom of Manhatten book on which it is based, but I don't think the end works and I don't like the way certain characters such as Raoul are portrayed in this version.

@ChildOfTheWilderness I do agree. Raoul just seems like a normal, drunken bum, which I completely detest... I love Raoul! He's amazing... and now, they've turned him into an every day marriage-counseling case.

I really wish I could see the musical so I could lay my opinion down... Sadly, all I have to go on is the music, youtube, research on the internet. I don't have that much to go on.

And I despise POM. Oh my gosh, that story was horrid in every sense of the word... IMO.
