Joseph taught that if you see God in vision then your sins have been forgiven you and the fact that you see God (Moses spoke with God face to face) then your sins have been forgiven.

The Book of Mormon lays out how to discern between true and satanic revelations. That which entice th to do good and edifies is of God "For if ye would hearken unto the Spirit which teacheth a man to pray ye would know that ye must pray; for the evil spirit teacheth not a man to pray, but teacheth him that he must not pray."

She's taking this the wrong way. It's saying in totality that they are abominable.

Take the phrase--

"God is good"

Now if you are quoting that as someone's opinion you would call that a correct belief.

What if you found out that the statement of theirs was out of context and they had really said "God is good for nothing"

You would be correct in saying that the totality of their belief "all" their belief/creed is abominable.
