Cung is a great technical striker but his power is overated, and his punch resistance isnt that good either as a result of going so long in his career without facing good competition. his stamina also needs to improve.
and to think he was going to fight Vitor Belfort or Manhoef instead. I wish him well in his career but he needs to start fighting more often or just give it up to become a film star.

So stoked about Cung Le in the UFC. Heard alot about him over the years. It's really exciting to see a great striker enter the middle-weight division. Kickboxers and Muay Thai Fighters are what makes bouts especially exciting. Wrestlers and BJJ black belts are too dominant in MMA, it's lop-sided and means that other fighters are more inclined to be the same. Maybe some fresh strikers like Le will help to inspire other fighters to be the same.
I can't wait to see this fight. Cung Le is probably one of the best fighters a lot of people don't know about. I wish he could of started his career in MMA sooner and with the UFC. @turnbacktime well wand is past his prime anyway so if le was going to win the fight he wouldve done it but that being said le has never been a diverse fighter in mma. he is a great technical striker as far as hands and feet are concerned but wand has more weapons at his disposal and is also a good grappler. wand baited him in instead of making it a brawl as he normally does and le took the bait and the end result was getting fried.

Cung is a great technical striker but his power is overated, and his punch resistance isnt that good either as a result of going so long in his career without facing good competition. his stamina also needs to improve.
and to think he was going to fight Vitor Belfort or Manhoef instead. I wish him well in his career but he needs to start fighting more often or just give it up to become a film star.

So stoked about Cung Le in the UFC. Heard alot about him over the years. It's really exciting to see a great striker enter the middle-weight division. Kickboxers and Muay Thai Fighters are what makes bouts especially exciting. Wrestlers and BJJ black belts are too dominant in MMA, it's lop-sided and means that other fighters are more inclined to be the same. Maybe some fresh strikers like Le will help to inspire other fighters to be the same.
