The exhaust cap on any pellet will be hot, to hot to touch. The pellet vent itself has a 1 inch to combustible and will not be as hot as the exhaust. The wall thimble will not be hot at all. The wall thimble is designed to maintain distance to combustibles which for pellet vent is 1 inch.
How hot does the exhaust get going through the wall thimble? and how hot does the thimble get? Can you touch the exhaust or thimble or will they be to hot to touch? I heard pellet stoves burn hot, so how hot is to hot for exhaust or thimble piece??
do u need to use silicone high temperture on ever joint of the 3 in vent pipe?

It's best to stay with the Pellet vent all the way through the system

can you just use hard pipe to vent? (black non insulated chimney pipe?)
