I'm just now starting to get into SS4AE and I really like it, but I really miss the Alpha series. I really got pretty good at it which I can't say for all of the Street Fighter games. Combos seemed to be so much fluid and easier for me to do. Yeah Alpha 1 wasn't the best in the series, that would go to Alpha 3, but it really brings back memories of the summer of 95. Most of which was spent at the arcade playing this game.

Yeah, I have to agree with some of the other comments on here. It's not on "expert mode." I know because I'm pretty good myself & I know for a FACT the freaking computer always tries to sneak a hit in somewhere along the match especially as you advance farther towards the last few fighters. Call me "shoplifting" cause I ain't buying it. :-j

the first street fighter alpha was so fucking disappointing, it's still amazing to this day. after they squeezed every little bit of juice out of SF2, they FINALLY release a sequel... and it looks worse, plays almost exactly the same, and screams "low budget, effortless, zero heart". even the announcer is bored.

This game brings back so many fond memories of my youth. I remember I was playing it one day I was playing hookie from school (because I loved it so much) and my mother came home early. @shairaptor They're both hidden characters. You have to input a certain code in the roulette box to select them. Dan is in this game too. Same for him, you'd have to input a certain code. All three of those characters have their own unique code.

Street Fighter Zero is my favorite "Street Fighter" game in the series. Has the best Music (Horribly arranged in Zero 2), the best Sound FX and Voice Acting (excessive 'child-like' performed in sequels) and the best Combo System for a Capcom Fighting Game such as an 'Street Fighter' deserves (Chain Combos). Chun Li almost got ya.... it was luck, she did not touch you with the fireball... same with Sagat... Sagat already fired, but a bug saved your perfect.... Ryu also fired his Ha-Do-Ken, and it did not touch you... lucky guy, you entered the supermove-combination in the same moment.... Guy was fighting like a wimp... he is normally much faster and stronger.... he runs permanently and flip-kicks fast as hell... and he did not use the back-drop... it think difficulty is on "easy"

If you want something more impressive, search for "street fighter alpha 3 tas" and you'll see some pretty awesome stuff - much more creative play than this offers, legitimate or not.
