  • awsome!

  • Does anyone know where I can buy the actual blocking she uses here? I hate having to form hats by hand.

  • Now that's what you call "hand-made" from beginning to end. :)

  • Fascinating process.

  • Great process, but the end product with that red and white took it from classy to unwearable and trashy looking ... Ooh well, someone out there likes it! To each his own. :)

  • @kbs1212 I tend to agree, but I think this must have been for one of those fashion shows because it said it was for the head of some model.

  • Where would I be able to get the wood pieces? It would make my working process a lot easier xD

  • I wish I knew how to do this like you do xD

  • This is good, but, you need to see the idieo msufandan has showinghow to knit a hat

So this video was a huge help! It was very easy to follow and the camera work was brilliant. So thank you very much!

  • Hat making is such a unique art. This video takes me back to my first days in England when I learnt to block hats at an alternative hat shop in 'the lanes' Brighton. That's a skill I never would have been exposed to in the arctic.

  • nuuu.. =^= it cant be. the top hat only looks most elegant when plain. awwman i want to learn under him/ stephen..a mans name.. a womans hand??

  • Fantastic, a true craftmans at work

  • Anyone know what fabrics were used to make this hat? Its shape is sooo beautiful and just...perfect!

  • I can't say what the material used to give the basic shape is, probably a vinyl. But the fur felt looks like a standard rabbit felt. The finition is very raw, but the modist didn't have to put much effort into it due to the look of her final product.

  • @aaronpaulcustoms Odds are it was buckram fabric, covered with a felt fabric (one with a high percentage of wool)

  • Wonderful !!

Thank you for sharing this with us.

  • Wow you have a wonderful talent. It came out great!

  • really delightful watchin that

  • Bravo, beautiful

  • I wish all videos were edited this smoothly. This hat turned out so beautiful.
