  • @aneper it's actually gracias. though not the latin "deo gratias," deo gracias is used in a few anglican/episcopal hymns - such as adam lay ybounden, a popular advent carol dated to around 1400.

  • its Deo not heyo saxons bitches

  • Damn your grassy ass...

  • I think it is something beginning with "Grail"...

  • At least there was religion in WarCraft 2. In WarCraft 3 and WoW there's no normal religion anymore

  • Aw, the good old days used to play this with my brothers. among many other old games.

  • Epic

  • wär doch perfekt fürn klingelton^^

  • HEY YOU GRASSY ARSE

  • day mo pra ciiaaaaa aaasss !!!!

  • JOB DONE

  • I listen "ts" : " Deo Gratsias" and you should know that in italy those "t" in front of an "i" are pronounced like a "z" i.e. "ts"

But "Heyo grassy arse" isn't bad, maybe "Deo grassy arse" would be a little offending, right ?

  • Warcraft 2 gracias!

    воистину

  • I was just a child when I heard this for the first time while playing wc2.

Now im 20 even today I enjoy listening to it as much as then.

  • Deo Gracias

  • Besides Age of Empires, the Warcraft series has AMAZING unit/building sounds :D

  • First of all, sweet alias. Wish I was that cool. Second of all, maybe you should undertake some basic English lessons? Maybe even some lessons in reading? bad trolling is bad.

  • @poisionarrowclean you are a douche, a very immature SPED clearly

  • They said 'after this' bimbo. And you thought they were deaf, I'm pretty sure they'd rather be that, then unable to read two simple words.. LOL FAIL

  • @poisionarrowclean Haha funny. You now gave me a reason not to reply anymore after this. Have fun trolling.

  • @poisionarrowclean There's conversations that are had and can warp things. So please let this be. It's pathetic.

  • @poisionarrowclean I said, it was an injoke. Doesn't mean I was deaf at the time. Sometimes, the music overlaps with what ever else was going on, or the sound was low. Deaf doesn't even come into it, I don't know why you're bothering to state I was. I can't believe we're having this argument. Get over it. It was an injoke, I wasn't deaf. End of story.

  • @poisionarrowclean No. It was purely an injoke. I'm sorry you didn't understand it.

  • @poisionarrowclean I know that now. I SAID USED TO. AS IN, WE ONCE THOUGHT IT SAID HEYO. No need to get angry over something so small.

  • @poisionarrowclean First off, there's no need to use that language for something so petty. Secondly, it's what we USED to think it said. Read it properly.

  • My friend and I used to play this game all the time when we were younger (like 8 years old), and I remember very specifically one day when we got into a huge argument over what this phrase was

  • @10forRP I know, you have to be around the same age as I am.

I wasn't able to understand Latin at the time :)

  • @sumydid

I'm of your age as well :)

  • Epic.. Paladins kick ass!

  • @Aleque Sire?

    Heal footman! Heal footman!

    EXORCISM! Good times.

  • @Naba008 For the kiiiing!

  • lol my brothers and I used to think it said :"Heyo Grassy Arse!"

  • @EXP282 it says "heyo grassy arse!", i'm sure

  • @EXP282 hahaha best ever

  • @EXP282 your comment made my day :)

  • @EXP282 LOl i thought it was 'Gayoh grassy ass' as a little boy

  • "I give you thanks" In english

  • Tenhão graciaaass..!

  • I want this sound for my cell phone as an sms alarm ^^ :D love warcraft

  • DEO GRASSY-ARSE!!! xD

  • win!!!

  • my favorite :o)

  • Deo gracias actually means give thanks to God.

  • @moo5009

its actually deo gratias, blizzard failed there.

  • @ForsakenProt maybe they're latinos

  • @ForsakenProt whats the difference between what you said and whats in the video above

  • @Zonde32

mine is latin, since blizzard's is not.

  • well could you spell out the differences in what they are saying wrong?

  • @Zonde32

graDias blizz says : graSias ( i used other letters to make it sound more clear ).

  • @ForsakenProt ah cool. i just started latin this year so i guess i could use some help :D

  • @Zonde32

    it

    is

    not

    cool

I TELL YOU ... IT IS NOT COOL DONT DO IT IM SERIOUS GO FRENCH,GO FUCKING FRENCH.

  • Do not worry friend. its more like general language learning. its not totally aimed at latin. latin is a somewhat easy language to learn since it has so many similarities to English and my language Danish. aaaaaand i cant change language since its not a real language class.

  • @Zonde32

    it is not.

    IT IS NOT LIKE ENGLISH.

    having my 4th year now.

    and i hate it.

  • Similarities in the words :D

  • @Zonde32

wow.english consists of 8 other "basic" languages... you can say the same about german, and fail horribly :X

  • @ForsakenProt i know :D its not like i chose Latin. its just something that comes with what i do :p i have german as my language

  • @ForsakenProt

The pronunciation in the sound effect is correct for ecclesiastical Latin

Only classical Latin would pronounce that T like in English

  • In Church/Ecclesiastical latin "tias" is pronounced something like "tzias" or "tseeas," so Bliz did get it right.

  • @moo5009 Gratias.

  • @moo5009 Can you also translate the chant you hear by clicking Mage tower?

Sounds something like unimale malema doos.

  • @moo5009 its gratias not gracias

  • Omg I still have this game. I remember this bug where I built that Ogre building to make Ogre Magi, but when I clicked on it, it played that church sound :D

  • remember me on the old good days *****
