Wellwood and raycroft are great, but if you really think that they're going to be good on the leafs, you're definatly wrong. Leafs are not at easy team to play for and we clearly saw that with raycroft because the fans themselves destroy them. Anyways I'm sure raycroft will do a lot better in colorado, or at least a bit better, and wellwood will fit in with the canucks just fine, they'll acomplish a lot more fans there then people who churp about them here like me, they can't playing in TO.

As for the moves, like them other than wellwood. The guy had 42 points in 48 games 2 seasons ago, yes he has maybe not worked as hard as he could have with rehab and does get hurt alot, but the positives way outweigh the negatives. His salary is minute, and if he were to have another bad year, healthy scratch. Nothing lost. If not, the guy has amazing hands, former OHL scoring champion, 118 points with belleville. He could easily develop into a great 2nd/3rd line centre and can play on the pp.

Ed Belfour buyout the worst? The story i heard was that Ed wanted 2 retire, but meh, i guess it was a bad move. Leafs must get Brian Cambell in the free agency period! And Habs must get Sundin! I rly want Sundin 2 go to Montreal, cause i find it very difficult 2 picture him in a red, white and blue Habs jersey! Also cause he isnt wot the Leafs need for 2morrow, Leafs need all young players now, i think Tucker rly had 2 go and also McCabe, Kubina and Blake will rly have 2 go next.

Raycroft-don't care. Wellwood-I liked but not overly attached. I wasn't ready to see tucker go after one bad season and 6 years is a long time... Cujo is dead to me after ditching the leafs after the 2002 run. swept in the first round the following year, NICE. I really think McCabe is next and it wont be pretty.

I like Fletchers moves so far. His hand was forced by the former GM giving no-trade clause's to mediocre players, and then the aforementioned players not waiving the no-trade clause(did you notice players was plural-he isn't done yet!)

I can't understand why any fan would want Kyle Wellwood on their team. He has NO heart, boatloads of talent, but no drive. The Canucks are a more poor team for grabbing him off waivers(Dave Nonis would have ignored him).

Wellwood has heart but he needs to be coached the drive. When you give a guy 3 minutes a game, how can he feel confident? The trainers should of worked his ass off, then the coaches help him with his defensive game. He has so much potential and to throw it away without conditioning him (not forgetting to mention his injury) is just a poor move the Leafs have made many times before. I still see Wellwood as a 2nd line centre racking up points in years to come.
