Great video and tips. You are exactly right, 3 hours is the minimum time needed to explore the Aquarium. When we went a few years ago, when our kids were 5 and 4, we took about 6 hours, just not to rush through it. Your video makes me want to go back

Actually this is in Monterey, which is Northern California. San Diego does have the Birch Aquarium and the new SeaLife Aquarium in Carlsbad. The Long Beach Aquarium of the Pacific is also worth a look.

Yes! I highly recommend visiting Monterey Bay Aquarium. It's the most amazing aquarium I've ever been to. While you're in San Francisco, don't miss Fisherman's Wharf, Alcatraz, and Napa Valley! In Napa Valley, I'm particularly partial to Yountville, which is a great walking town with amazing restaurants. You can even walk to Domaine Chandon, the famous champagne winery. Have fun!!! omg i love the aquarium i named all the sea otters and stayed over night with the cub scouts and now the aquariam has a great white shark which is pretty cool.

How fun to stay overnight there! Our family really enjoyed watching the sea otters. They were adorable! I'm sorry I missed seeing a great white. I know they get them in there from time to time. I bet it was fascinating to see one up close!
